The best place to connect with nature. If you don't like quietness and living calmly that is not the place for you. It is the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

Beautiful hotel, lovely people. Nice clean apartment, right on the beach. A little off the beaten path as the other review states, but so quiet and private. Hardly anyone on the beach. Found dozens of sand dollars on our daily walk.
Hidden gem, you need to check this place out! It's a place you'll want to come back to more than once. The beaches are so unique; this resort is tucked away and very secluded and each time we've been here there's hardly ever another soul...More
Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Great accommodations; our room was clean, spacious, and with a great view. The facility is on the beach, and the amenities leave nothing to desire. The beach is clean, not crowded, and watching the sunset on the chairs provided by...More
I don’t know how anyone could be disappointed with this place. The buildings & grounds are immaculately kept. The beach & its nearly-black sand are also nearly deserted. The room is well-lighted, the bed comfy & the bath luxurious - there is even a walk-in...More

Hi the main highways around CR are fine and well kept up but the smaller dirt roads like the one leading into the hotel is an unpaved dirt road with a few pot holes and rocks. I didnt think they were that bad not any different from dirt roads anyhere else. We rented a small suv it got us around just fine. I would highly recommend renting a gps as it was a life saver for us. We rented our car from enterprise and had no issues with them. It was a 4 cylinder so the get up and go was a little slow. Alot of the parks are off the beaten path so I would consider an suv for sure. Rainmaker park was only about 20 minutes from the hotel and we really enjoyed that buts its a drive up into the rainforest on a dirt road but well worth it. Probably our favorite thing we did while there. Also Mar y sol the resturant up the road from the hotel was just awesome and very well priced. To us the dinners in the hotel seemed a little over priced and not much selection so we ate lunches and dinners out. Hope you have a wonderful time CR is a great place to visit. It was our first time and loved it and we went during the rainy season. Please free to ask any more questions you may have.

Hello Raj, the accomodation and view from the hotel are good. I did not use Spa and did not seen the yoga classes, but do not expect the hotel to be like a 4 star in US. This hotel is more familiar and as the location is a little isolated, you will not find all the facilities as in a chain hotel. You will like to stay there if you want to be isolated from noise and feel nature. have a good trip.
