7 nights at this hotel came as part of a fly fishing package. Such a disappointment. An assorted collection of about 48 bungalows spread over large grounds. To be fair each bungalow has a sitting room with 2 armchairs, coffee table, side table and chairs, dresser with fridge underneath and flatscreen TV on top. A bathroom with sink, WC and... More

We had a chalet with separate livingroom, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was clean, but the AC in the living did not work. The bedroom had 2 single beds and an AC that dit work. The bathroom was large and had a shower and toilet. In the chalet were 110V and 220V outlets (but the 220V outlets need a type of... More

Overall, I didn't find the experience that bad, BUT, the first bungalow they put me in, the AC didn't work properly, and I wanted to be closer to the beach. So, I INSISTED on being moved. Glad I did that, as I got a bungalow closer to the beach, with AWESOME AC in BOTH the sitting area and the bedroom.... More

A weird 60,s style holiday camp ,long walks to get to your concrete block which was so hot we had to move the mattresses out of the bedroom into the front room as that was slightly cooler compared to the sweat box in the bedroom. Rooms were clean but that was the only plus point.Restaurant is awful in its food... More

AC does not work, pool was a zoo, water filthy, breakfast room / restaurant had last change of table linen before xmas dinner last year. Beach was dirty and full of litter. The only good thing is a small restaurant just outside of the hotel called on the other side of the street "Terasxa de Milly"..

I gave it a rating of "poor" instead of "terrible" because the staff did their best given what they had to work with. The history is interesting because the buildings were under construction during the Bay of Pigs Invasion, some of which occurred on this spot. However the units are bare cinder block constructions that haven't been updated since the... More

Oh, my. What can I say about this place? Mostly, don't go there if you can avoid it! On the good side, we had our own bungalow with a porch, a sitting room and a bedroom and there is a beach on the property. I think that's it on the good side. On the bad side, the rooms were like... More

Not a lot to like but so many things wrong. Firstly, it is not near any of the major attractions - we had booked through the agency without realising how far it was to our proposed activities. My wife was going bird watching in the national park but our guide was at Playa Larga which is quite some distance. I... More

I booked a fishing week at this hotel with 'CubanDirect', London. After reading previous reviews I and my companion feared the worst - the very least that even fishermen expect is a loo that functions i.e. with water; a working shower and a clean room and bed. Our cabin was number 24 and showed signs of recent exterior painting. Inside... More
