Came down with two friends for the week all inclusive. Everything from beginning to end was handled very effectively from setting up the trip to leaving. The owners Christian and Collin are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about the surf in the area. Food is great, good sized portions, and you can surf as much as you can handle. Thanks for having us.

This place is awesome. The guys there are super knowledgeable about where to get the best waves. We surfed every day. They had a bunch of boards that we could try too. One day was flat so we went spear fishing off the boat. Food was great! Fresh fish! They also took us out to town to go bar hopping one night. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back!

My PSSR Experience The Room: Clean and tidy. Flawless air condition unit (invaluable). Doors and windows fit extremely well. No space for insects to enter. The windows are mirrored so you can see out, but cannot see in. Two beds, two bookshelves, two double power outlets. Dim lighting. WiFi works best in the outside common area. The dominant sounds of the ocean and birds blanket this place. The Bathroom: Bright lighting. Strong toilet flush. Mushroom shower head dumps plenty of water. Slow shower drain. Fast sink drain. No hot water. The People I Met: Thank you Greg (who runs his own camp) for your quick and witty commentary, during down-time in the lineup. Nathan, it was great swapping waves and teacher stories with you. Have a great remaining school year! Garrett, thank you for introducing Rochelle and Anabelle. Beautiful sights on a solo surf trip. Those 2 are Keepers! Safe travels to the Ocean Beach Crew!! The Cook: Lissett treated me like a King during my entire stay. They say “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. NO JOKE. I’m 5’8’’, 150 lbs with a superb metabolism. I surfed or body surfed or swam or paddled every day at PSSR. And somehow put on 5 lbs! My last dinner at PSSR... A Lobster and Fried Chicken Masterpiece. Thank you Lissett The Hosts. Christian is a straight shooting goofy footer with a dang good frontside top turn. (Hi Vanessa, Hi Marley!!) Colin is an easy going regular footer with a super tight backside rail grab. These two gentlemen took UTMOST GREAT care of me. Colin took me spearfishing for my first time and took pictures of Christian and Me, trading waves at one of the best Lefts I have ever surfed in my life. I Must Say This: Nicaragua’s tourist industry is in an economic crisis (at the time of my travel). This is a Surfer’s dream (empty waves), but a Camp Owner’s Nightmare (zero-low occupancy). Four surf camps closed down before my arrival. During this hardship, Colin and Christian strived to make a One Star situation into a Five Star Surf Experience... and succeeded big time! Integrity at its Best. Thank you so much to everyone at PSSR. I will be seeing you again.

PSSR is a camp made for people who love to surf, relax, and eat great food. I am an intermediate surfer and returned home from a recent surf trip June 2 through June 13th 2018. Christian and Colin are great accomodating hosts whose primary goal seemed to be for you to have the greatest surf trip of your life (I got tubed for the first time in many years). There are 2 outstanding breaks directly out in front of the resort that can viewed from the 2nd story while sitting at tables directly above the beach. Colin or Christian will take you anywhere you want to go surfing by walking, car/truck, and/or boat. Because of their local knowlege, they know the best breaks for every swell and tide condition. You can go surfing as many or few times you want to go a day. Jimmy, the boat driver is enthusiatic and always has a smile on his face. The 3 meals included in the package are cooked by a fantastic cook named Isela who spoils you with local cuisine, steak, fish, and even lobster. The room where I stayed was twice the size of another surf resort I stayed at in southern Nicaragua. If you are looking for a luxury resort with ambiance, luxurious rooms, upper scale restaurants, PSSR is not the place for you. There is no hot water for showering, no concierge, no bell hops (although they will carry your luggage to and from your room). They will supply you with a surfboard as part of the package if you do not bring your own. So if want to go to a surf camp/resort where the hosts are as enthusiastic as you are about surfing excellent waves, then PSSR is the place for you. I can't wait to return in 2019.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at PSSR...what an awesome place! Thank you Christian, Colin, and co. for hooking up all the amenities and delicious grub! Don’t even get me started on the surf...so stoked to have had the chance to score with you guys! Four waves no more than a 5-10 minute walk away and of course the granddaddy of ‘em all a short boat ride away 🤙🤙I’m already thinking ahead and planning a return. To the shopping traveler: rest assured this is the spot if you want access to great surf, friendly people and true comfort. Get down there!
