A real country Pub which is slowly being gentrified. Still rough at the edges but a good spot to grab a bite to eat, stay or just enjoy the beer garden & a few cold ones. We didn't stat , just enjoyed. The place was crowded on our visit and for good reason, a great stop in North

On a visit to Blinman Mine, we went here for lunch. There were 11 of us. This did not cause any problems. The food was great. The beef pie was to die for and in the $15 pie and a pint deal, too good to miss.

Was a better feel about the township before the road was sealed. Before it felt like an outback township. We had many a good easter up here with the Land Rover club. Now it feels like the southern Flinders which is a shame.

We recently stayed a night at this outback hotel and were very impressed. The accommodation, a double motel room, was very clean and comfortable. The meal we had was as good as the best of pub food anywhere in Australia, which is remarkable, given the isolation of this hotel.

Yes the Blinman Hotel has re-opened. Dave & Carolyn are local identities who operate the hotel. I did not meet Jim.

Jim is no longer there. But Tim the photographer is. The cook before it closed. The hotel is coming up to 12 month anniversary from when it reopened

Not sure what your question is, but we took a UK couple to Blinman as part of an outback experience. It is unique, as is the town which doesn't have much to it. If you get there in time there is a tour of the old copper mine, and there are some good drives in the adjacent gorges - best if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The hotel proprietor looked after us well - we were there for Pitza night (the only meal choice) and they left a very good serve yourself breakfast for us the next morning as we were leaving early. Hope that helps.
