As others have stated, I wish I could have had more time in this lovely house. We only had one night, but we were made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Lionel and Laurence were charming and interesting to talk with, we also enjoyed the champagne and nibbles they provided. We had 2 adult sons with us,...

This is an old Manor house tucked away, so quiet and private. It is set in lovely grounds with a view of Mont Blanc. The hosts are very welcoming and really seem to enjoy having guests. We chose it for an overnight stop but it was so good and the area interesting we will try to return for a longer stay....

We found this hotel on the internet as a stopover on our way home so sadly we were just there for one night. We were invited into their "home" and treated to an aperitif with the owners before we went out for dinner. Thw owners are excellent hosts. The property was beautifully and very tastefully restored and furnished. Our suite...

Stayed there one night during a business trip in a middle of an early season snowfall. I wished I had more time (and been there with my better half, with or without our kids) as this is a charming place, restaured and decoarted with taste in a bucolic/rural environment. Lionel and laurence (the hosts) are interesting and friendly. It felt...

Hidden away off the beaten path, this carefully restored manoir is both modern and comfortable. Wonderful rooms with modern spotless ensuite bathrooms, fine linens and towels, and welcoming public rooms. The owners are attractive and friendly, speak good English, and make guests feel welcome immediately. Nights are quiet on this entirely enclosed enclave, which includes a lovely pool amidst gardens....

Walking into this Manoir was a wonderful surprise and so much more than we expected… or saw via the internet. Everything, and I mean everything was superb, inspiring, relaxing and felt like home (though I wish my home looked like that!). It is impossible to describe the warm and fuzzy feelings our entire family had or the emotions my father...

This turned out to be an ideal place for a birthday celebration, shared with three generations from age 4 to age 70, ten people in all. The house is large, well appointed, very comfortable and remains cool in the hot weather. The swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis and boule meant that there was always plenty of interest for everyone....

Fantastic welcome & aperitifs with the loveliest of hosts. Domaine du Manoir is a beautiful building in wonderful surroundings with pool & tennis court available to guests. Our room was a large suite, impeccably decorated with an enormous bathroom. The dining room and breakfast were excellent. A wonderful stay and we were very sorry to leave.

Our family stayed here for a week with two other families. We have young children and the yard was absolutely perfect and protected. We played soccer every night, and the kids loved the beautiful pool. The house was amazing and very well kept. Everything we needed was there. The town of Les Aveniers is super as well. Highly recommended. We...

We had a lovely time at Domain Du Manoir. We rented the whole house and shared it between my brother, parents and our family. The house and gardens were extremely relaxing. We didn't do much exploring of the neighbourhood but enjoyed the walk into town each morning to buy the best croissants I have ever eaten and then spent the...
