We checked into this hotel after midnight when the president of Peru decided to close the borders due to the COVID 19 outbreak. We were unable to get a flight home so we had to stay in quarantine until a repatriation flight was arranged to come and get us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during the crisis. We stayed for 10 days and each day the owner called to check in on us and assure us that everything was going to be okay. The two staff members stayed with us the entire 10 days and made sure we were fed 3 meals a day. Since we were unable to leave the hotel, one of the staff members ran a special errand for us to the market to get us supplies that we needed. I couldnt imagine staying anywhere else especially during a world crisis. I felt safe and taken care of! The hotel has good internet and a computer to use. It also has a nice terrace and balcony to soak up the sun!…
I had a really nice experience staying in the hotel Manhaten in!I recommended it for the value of the price! It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful!
Comfortable clean rooms, good water pressure, very accommodating front desk staff. Was able to leave a suitcase until I return. Breakfast was not included but was decent for the price. Close to the airport.
The hotel had a good appearance and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However - you could hear everything going on in reception despite being a floor up - including drunken guests and guests in the restaurant eating until late. No good with a 3am flight! The light from the hallway shone through a glass panel above the door and the light from outside shone through the thin curtains, so the room was bright and illuminated all night. We also had two separate guests knocking on our door trying to get in at 10pm and 12pm....how reception told them the wrong room I don’t know! No sleep for us! What a shame.
Hotel was nice it had an interesting decor. My room was decent size for price.. The complimentary breakfast was eggs and bread. Staff was very nice. The only problem at the hotel was that I organized shuttle service, confirmed twice and when I arrived there was no one there to greet me. My flight had been delayed and we arrived 20 minutes late. I expect that if they had arrived, they just left after I did not show, however they had asked me for my flight information so they knew when I was coming in. I had no way of contacting the hotel other than through email which I previously had used however the woman who looks after shuttles did not work in the evening. After I waited there for half an hour and it was obvious no one would be coming I had to order an Uber. The next day I confirmed again that I would have shuttle service. I needed to get back to the airport for my next flight. I had booked it for 12 and did not leave until 12:20 which was cutting it closer than I would have liked for my flight. Overall though this is a decent place to crash close to the airport. …
