We stopped on our way to Jodhpur from Bikaner. This is a good vegetarian place for lunch or dinner . The food was very balanced and economical. Highly recommended for travellers on the route to Jodhpur.
We didn't stay at the hotel. Our tour guide brought us here after visiting the Fort of the Hooded Cobra in Nagaur. This review is only for the lunch we had at the restaurant. We ordered Tandoori Bharwa Aloo, a dish of grilled stuffed potatoes. It was delicious and a generous serve. It came with a big salad of coleslaw-type-vegetables, very finely sliced and had been soaked in salty, slightly acidic water. Very tasty and refreshing. We also had Pindi Chana, which was whole chickpeas in a spicy tomato-based sauce. Also very tasty and not too spicy for foreign tourists. These dishes were accompanied by buttered tandoori roti. The lassis were equally delicious. They had raspberry syrup drizzled down the glass before the yoghurt was poured in. The drinks contained lots of natural cashews and was topped with chopped pistachios. Really lovely meal and not expensive. The restaurant and restrooms were all very clean. Many patrons had stopped there for lunch, but we didn't have to wait very long for the meals. Would recommend.…
