To eat a marvelous "cocido maragato". Very good service. Very good food. It's a very nice place to go, if you are near Leon, you have to came here. Pueblo Castillo de los Polvazares very typical, maintains small houses like they were built, remember the roman mark in Spain.

Our room was very pretty, and staff were very helpful. We would return for a short stay. You need a car as the village is tiny and there are no shops. During the afternoon the restaurants all close and we had to go to Astorga just to buy water. I would recommend the restaurants Cocido Maragato, yum. Breakfast was also... More

This is the second time that tee have stayed here and both times we have been impressed by the quality of the meals and the excellence of the staff! It is a small hostel which is set in a beautifully renovated village on the Camino de Santiago which is a lovely centre for many outdoor activities but also is well... More
