We booked through Eurocamp. The Avant caravan was spotless and smelt clean - unusual in our experience! The site was just great. Rustic. Home to lots of different tour operators, some private caravans and lots of spaces for tourers/motorhomes. We stayed here for 4 days before moving on to another site but could have easily stayed here for longer. We travelled with a 2yr old and a 6yr old. There was more for our eldest to do. She spent her time in the sea snorkelling or on the 'aqua glide' inflatables. There was a kids club which had a variety of activities - the smallest didn't want me to leave her alone in there but you could. The animation team work tirelessly. They started about 10am and were still performing at 10pm! On a Wednesday it's free pork and fireworks from 7pm. We missed the pork as it had all gone by 7.30! and they didn't have any fireworks when were there (start of the season maybe) so instead they did an impressive dance with fire sticks. The beach is not sand - it's pebbles. That may put people off. We had to buy beach shoes from the shop on site. Restaurants on site - fish, pizzeria and one that sells a variety of different foods and the beach bars sell sandwiches/nuggets/chips etc. There was a spa. Lots of sports activities - boats, paddle boards, windsurfing, pedalos etc There is a small supermarket on site, a small fish market and a fruit stall. ! There was a pancake stand and a donut stand and a great ice cream stall.

I visited here last week with my two children and husband, the location was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. criticisms would be that lots of the facilities weren't open, including the aqua park, which left not much to do onsite, due to the weather also not being good, there was no mention of this when booking through Eurocamp. The seating was not nice to sit on due to people sitting on it with sun cream on, maybe use washable covers. I would advise taking a car as the bus goes 3 times a day and is expensive, the bus driver chose not to speak English when we wanted a child ticket for our daughter. I would love to go back there when the weather is warmer and also hire a car to explore the island.

Stayed here with motorhome for a week but could stay longer in the future. Nice and tasty restaurants, a lot of things to do for hole family like to rent SUP, electric scooters, water fun, boats , can recommend hair cut as well as massage, very good service / personality, shops and cafe's are fine. Some places at the punta available. A lot of pits do have water and electricity but also a fire place

Our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) spent 10 nights at camp Simuni in August. We booked directly with Camp Simuni, as I had read that their mobile homes were better situated and better quality. Our mobile home was meters from one of several beaches, in a quiet shaded area, perfect. There were very limited kitchen facilities (no oven, toaster or microwave... did manage to toast some bread on the hob!) but there were a good selection of restaurants to eat at, which were very reasonably priced. Our favourites were the Mali Raj ( kids half price, all you can eat buffet) and Shoobys. We missed not having a bbq by the caravan too, but there are communal bbq areas which you can use. Lots to keep the kids occupied, the aqua park, sea scooters, (explore the nearby wrecks!) on land electric scooters, climbing wall, wind surfing, paddle boards to name a few, (all at a cost) lots of other activities/clubs for younger kids which we didn't make use of. We also hired a boat for the day and explored the coastline, did some fishing (bring your own rods). Each beach has a pontoon to swim out to which we made good use of. We wanted to try water skiing too but everytime we turned up the sea was too rough Did see people out on the large inflatables at other times. We had a couple if issues in the caravan- we ran out of gas once, and a pipe burst in the kids room completely soaking the bedding, and clothing, the floor was flooded and the aircon broke down as a result. The management dealt with both issues very quickly and sorted everything out- they even offered to move us to another caravan but there was no need. I did like the fact that the aircon wasn't on a timer as in other camps we have stayed in, so you could have it on all night if needed (which it was!) We wondered if we would miss not having a pool- we didn't at all, the beaches were great, plenty of facilities for showers, coffees, icecreams- even a 'popcorn man' who walks up and down the beach all day selling 'langus', popcorn and hot sweetorn- delicious. No annoying hawkers on these beaches, trying to sell you their wares. Like others have said, the beaches are of fine shingle / stone so we came prepared with wet shoes. It could get uncomfortable lying on the beach if you don't get a sunbed (we were never up early enough) but you can buy folding foam mats in the village area if that's an issue. We had planned to do a daytrip off the island during our stay, but we were so relaxed and had plenty to occupy the kids, we didn't bother in the end. We came away agreeing that this was the best campsite we have stayed in and will be hard pushed to better it, so we think we'll be back next year.....
