Detailed Reviews
This was an incredible holiday made perfect by the Simuni Camping Village team.
We booked last minute with Homair and because there was no availability for one complete week we chose to book two holiday homes (one for 3 nights, and one for 4 nights). the booking process was good and we checked in before leaving home.
The booking confirmation said that we had to checkin between 4pm-7pm but as our schedule didn't see us arriving until 8pm we gave them a call to let them know. They were super flexible and as we had checked in from home they left the key inside the cabin and the door was open, with fresh clean linen. They called by the morning with fresh towels (which we had forgotten to order).
The camping village is huge but we were only 50 yards from the beach - Crystal clear water. Essential that you buy water socks because of the stoney ground. Also, get down to the beach before 10am to ensure you get your spot under the umbrellas (the sun loungers are free). We stayed on "Salt Beach" which is quiet.
At Salt Beach there is easy access to showers, for a post swim shower, and clean toilets. There are two bars serving coffee/cold drinks and food from 10am.
There is a very good supermarket on site, as well as countless restaurants. The south part of the village is the quietest.
Overall this was a 5+ star rating holiday - the village is very clean, quiet and tranquil.

This was our 1st time in Croatia and we were not disappointed. Fantastic scenery and
Welcoming people. The campsite is superb with great places to eat throughout the site. The portion sizes are huge and quality of food is fantastic. Every lunch we ate the squid and Our favourite restaurant was the fish restaurant. We thought we would miss a pool and the pebble beach would be annoying but it was the total opposite. The pebble beach meant no annoying sand in your cabin and there were plenty of sun loungers to lie on & parasols (follow the Germans lead reserving the beds when you wake up,) . The sea is a perfect temperature and we enjoyed snorkelling across the bay. There were plenty of water sports available to do, we enjoyed the water park, being dragged on inflatables at high speeds and we also hired a boat for half a day to explore the area. Our 8 year old daughter enjoyed the kids entertainment and the live bands that played in the evening were of a high standard. On Wednesday there was a goulash cooking competition that my wife and daughter entered all ingredients provided by the campsite. On the same day there was free pork for everyone at the campsite straight off the spit roast.
The area is peaceful and our Eurocamp cabin was adequate but there were nicer cabins that could be booked direct with camping Šimuni. The aircon is a saviour in the cabin, but at the beach there seemed to be a welcome breeze most of the time.
As a eurocamp veteran in France / Spain and haven in the Uk this was without doubt the best place we have stayed at a very, very reasonable cost.
As you can tell by this review we had a great time, but the crowning glory for the campsite was the unbelievable customer service and act of kindness we received. We made a school boy error and realised we had not picked up passports on check out. By the time we were at the airport we would not have had time to drive back to get them! Cue panic stations! I offered the reception to pay for a taxi to deliver them but one of the campsite employees drove them to us. They didn’t even want payment but I gave them a big tip to show our gratitude.
THANK YOU SIMUNI! WE’LL BE BACK!

I have just left the campsite and I was very impressed. To start off with I booked an airport transfer through the campsite for 550 Kuna. The driver Mario was lovely. The caravan was through Eurocamp, I always stay on Eurocamp and this was the cleanest caravan I've stayed in. The campsite is very big and there is lots to do. I went with my 3 year old boy, so we went to the kids club. The staff at the kids club are so lovely, the reception staff are nice. The point to note about this campsite is that it is very remote. I like to explore places when I go away but here unless you have a car then it's not really possible. There is lots to keep you entertained on the campsite, but for someone like me I like to see the country I'm visiting not just the campsite. But this is obviously not a negative for the campsite. There is a bus to Zadar but only 3 times a day.

Heard it was a lovely place for kids so booked a mobile home Maun for 3 nights. Even with an extra 20% discount (filling up the last free homes I assume) we paid 130 euro per night to stay in a minuscule plastic box with a struggling airco in the part of the campsite without any natural shade. The reception is nearly impossible to reach but finally promised to send someone over to fix the airco. Took 4 hours of waiting for two guys to show up and then leave immediately when my kids told them I was in the shower. Never saw them again.
Decided to leave one day earlier as none of us have been able to sleep for 2 days due to dysfunctional airco (33C outside and 40+C inside!). Super rude receptionist at check out informed us that she couldn’t help the heat and we had to pay all 3 nights anyway as we had booked that.
Their marketing is great but the actual experience is a joke considering the price, and the service!
Do yourself a favour and book a decent hotel instead of paying through the nose to stay in a glorified tent and bake in blazing sunshine

It was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation, which isn't exactly cheap. But everyone praises that camp, so we decided to go there. I'll just say that she would never come back.
The restaurants are great as are the people, so a recommendation for that. But this is a review for the campsite, reception and mobile home and I have no recommendation for it.
We arrived tired after the trip, we couldn't enter the house, it wasn't cleaned, and we couldn't park. Then we went to report at the reception, they didn't apologize at all, and that's the most important thing. Then we didn't have hot water, so the craftsmen took turns until they fixed it. It is not at all clear that you can rent a mobile home without checking its condition. Extremely poor communication at the reception, especially with the manager. I have never written negative reviews, I always try to be understanding. But now I am so angry, that someone can behave like that and there is not a lot of money involved. So my recommendation is to go to another camp.

Camp is nice, clean, the staff is amazing. Best animation team until now. Nice, happy and very polite girls and boys (Maša, Eddy, Sofia, Alejandro, Carlos..). Always with the smiles on their face, they are always trying to make all of the guests happy. Even though the prices are a bit high, I really recommend it.

your kids will enjoy lot of entertainment. Kids club, mini disco, playgrounds, rented equipment at beach.
Nice to have ice cream (not best at Adriatic , but good enough), pancake shop etc …
I didn’t like the automats with toys to attract kids and withdraw money from the pocket. Some can be found in central area.
In the evenings quite loud music till 11pm.
Accommodation pitches location: depending on location. We had in zone B, central area, very nice, spacious, with shade of non-coniferous trees. Rocky ground on pitches, so not much for barefoot. Also appreciated a concrete sink at place. But it is not in all places.
Facilities:
In central area probably the only not refurbished. But still ok. The other buildings with showers, toilets looked very nice, refurbished recently. So, no worries.
