Superb village pub. We were stopping at the nearby lodges in the village, and thought the pub opened at 5pm per the website, but arrived to find the pub shut at 5:20 (having walked up). The landlord was great in letting us come in, sit down and made us a free coffee each, that is not something you will see...

The preprioters of Full Sutton Simon and Julie, are the most wonderful of people, they help assist and make your day out at Full Sutton as brilliant as possible. We have called in several times this year for bar meals. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food was perfect and we especially like the Sunday roast. Worth booking a table to avoid disappointment.

Lovely real pub, landlady and landlord couldn't do enough for us when we arrived. We had done 68 miles on our bikes and were fairly tired but nothing was too much trouble for us. We just missed the time for a hot meal but the sandwiches that they made for us were awesome. The beer was great and the Guinness...

The Fleece is located in the centre of a very nice village with the accommodation in a separate single storey building located directly behind the pub. There are only 4 rooms and ours, one of the doubles, was quite spacious with a simple decor of magnolia walls and pinewood furniture. The bed was comfortable, there was enough storage for short...

Been a few times when visiting York. Staff are always superb, sat and had some lovely beer and gin, didn't eat on this occasion but have previously and it was lovely. Will definitely be back when we get back to York which is twice a year. If you're in the area, make this pub a must!

What wasn't so good when we had finished our meal no one came to see...

Myself and 6 family members visited the pub for an evening meal. There were plenty of tables booked and the pub looked thriving - luckily we had our own separate area because of our little dog. The portions were huge, especially the fish and chips!! I'd definitely recommend it. 2 members of the family were staying at the pub whilst...
