If you read the earlier review of this hotel, it is spot-on. The hotel has a fantastic view over tea fields and the reservoir. It is quiet and had balconies where you can sit and relax. BUT it is very old and worn, every room has different furniture and a different setup. Essentially there is one caretaker on site ( we were there in winter) so the place felt almost shut-down when we arrived or that perhaps only some floors were open for off season. I am not sure if it picks up in summer - there was a potential BBQ area. With a little TLC this place would be a top choice in the area, for now its a bit odd.

During a visit to the tea plantations in Boseong, exploring the various luscious valleys, we spotted this little motel from the other side of the hill … and on our way driving down to the coastal town, we were lucky enough to find the tiny side road which led steeply down to the motel – which is perched on an incline with a fabulous view of the hills, plantations, lake/estuary … At 40 euros a night, we found ourselves in a large but old-fashioned and well-worn room … but with an even larger balcony which had ‘that’ view (see photo)… where we were able to sit quietly and take in the pleasant tea-fragranced air. We investigated a few other rooms in this funny little hotel, which had ‘60s furniture such as circular water beds, flock wallpaper, avocado coloured bathrooms, orange plastic lamps – a real museum ! we avoided those ! but for the first time in the whole of South Korea, the television in our room wasn’t flatscreen ! yet amazingly enough, we had a computer in the room with good connection, plus our very own mineral water dispenser (hot and cold), and tea and coffee making facilities (with real Boseong tea on offer !) … If they ever decide to give this motel an overhaul, it would be a wonderful place … but it’s still a superb deal for a short stay (if you don’t mind its current de-moded condition !!)
