Le Pas Cru is a sympathetically renovated 1850 Breton farmhouse set in secluded, rural countryside on the Brittany Normandy border. The restoration has been undertaken to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with exposed original beams, stone walls, wood burning stoves and handcrafted furniture throughout. Every care has been taken to provide a special and memorable place to stay in an environment where you feel at home and are able to fully relax. We are ideally situated to visit Le Mont-Saint-Michel and other local attractions.

Highly recommended to those who are looking for a very luxurious and beautifully decorated cottage and to those wo want to enjoy the tranquility of a nature garden. The owners live in the main building but they respect the privacy of the visitors highly. We stayed in Le Fournil for a full week and found the cottage very neat and clean, with all the luxury you want concerning bathroom, kitchen and comfort. Don't look for the television and stereo. It isn't there. But the wifi was 100% quality. Great place for birdwatchers/photographers and de-stressing.

What a find! We spent a 'petit séjour' at Le Fournil and found it to be a wonderful retreat; a place in which to relax, de-stress and take advantage of the 'tranquillité'. Tricia and Mark have created an amazing 'home from home'; stylish, comfortable and very luxurious with handcrafted furniture and amazing attention to detail. This is truly a super gîte!

we stayed at Le Pas Cru for five nights and the ,site and hospitality were exceptional. The area has so much more to offer than just Mont St Michel and Mark and Tricia were a font of knowledge, ever keen to help improve our holiday experience. The location is a tranquil site far removed from the bustle of everyday life yet close enough to lots of local places of interest. They pride themselves on being the best hosts possible and exceed expectaions!!! would not hesitate to recommend this as the perfect get-away.

We rented the cottage ‘The Fournil at Le Pas Cru’ for a midweek at the end of July. The owners, Tricia and Mark, were prompt to reply to our enquiry and made our booking very easy. They also sent us very helpful easy to follow instructions on how to find the house. The cottage which is close to the ‘Chambre de hotel Le Pas Cru’ itself has been renovated to a superior degree with a modern brand new kitchen, lovely spacious bathroom with separate shower and clawfoot bath, beautiful wooden floors, exposed beams, brickwork and other period features. Everything was also very clean and beautifully Interior designed to the highest standard. Tricia and Mark were always available for any queries we had while we were there. They also cooked us very tasty meals if we so requested. The location of the house is just a short drive to many gorgeous villages, and places of interest, making the cottage a great place to be based if you want to explore the area in general. Set in a quiet beautiful surroundings, this cottage really was exactly what we hoped a peaceful country escape would be. We cannot rate it highly enough, and we are looking forward to returning when we can!
