Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Quest Castle Hill for 9 nights over the new year period.
Looking for accommodation (3 bedrooms) over this period is not cheap, or easy, however the Quest was great!
(Our booking was made in April 2019).
In all areas of contact with the staff, both prior to and during our stay, we found them to be always pleasant and very helpful.
Having read reviews we were fully aware of the location of the apartments, however they are well serviced in terms of public transport connections to get in to Sydney city, or to the nearby Castle Towers shopping centre. Even at 2am on New Years Eve, we were back in 1 hour.
I must say though, considering the Quest usually has a shuttle service, it is frustrating they do not run it during the holiday period. It would have been very useful (and saved some Uber fares) to get to the local metro station or express bus stops.
We were offered a 2 bedroom apartment with an adjoining studio which fulfilled our needs perfectly as we were travelling with our 2 adult children and their partners.
Our 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, with a bedroom at each end and living area in the middle. Very happy. Plenty of space for 6 adults.
However, my one complaint, and I believe a significant one, is in regard to the air conditioning in the 2 bedroom unit (The studio had its own).
There was a reverse cycle air conditioning unit at one end of the living area, which cooled this area ok.
It did not reach or filter into the bedrooms.
The main bedroom had a ceiling fan, which helped at night.
The second bedroom, which also received the full afternoon sun on the window, did not.
Daytime temps during our stay were mid 30’s in to the 40’s and rarely dropped below 20 degrees at night. Curtains in this room had to be kept closed continuously to try to keep out some of the heat.
I’m not sure why there would not be a ceiling fan in this room. It holds a king bed, the same as the main bedroom.
For the minimal cost it would be to put one in each of the 2nd bedrooms, I feel this is something the Quest should seriously consider.
We were lucky that when we asked reception if they had a fan, we were given a pedestal fan to use. Not as efficient as the ceiling fan but far better than nothing.
Although there was a sliding door to a balcony, there was no point opening it as it was hot air coming in.
Our requests to reception a few weeks prior to our arrival for a clothes airer and a coffee plunger were happily fulfilled.
As were additional supplies or towels we needed during our stay.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again and highly recommend the Quest at Castle Hill.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your lovely review and thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are sorry that we did not run the shuttle bus and will take it into consideration for holiday periods in the future. In regards to the air con not reaching the bedrooms I am so sorry that it was not cooling enough and we are currently looking into getting some more ceiling fans into the bedrooms due to the heat that can get trapped in the bedrooms because of the full sun in the afternoons. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

We were in the Castle Hill area for a week visiting relatives. With two small kids, an apartment is a far better bet than a hotel. Simple things like access to a washing machine and a microwave make a real difference. Location wise this is in the suburbs, its not located well for Sydney or public transport. Its tucked in the back of an industrial estate, so hidden we drove past it. Once we found it and checked in we were sold. The lady on reception was brilliant sorting out every query, making sure the kids were entertained while we did the paperwork. And even helping us with six cases and two kids to our room. The rooms are basic a bit tired, but function well and very spacious for the price. Everything worked and in an apartment you expect to be self sufficient but for queries reception wAs always on hand. Even small things like running out of washing powder after the shops have shut. Parking is below the block in an underground garage so the car stays wonderfully cool when parked up during a summers day in the Hills.
In hospitality the secret is in the title. A slightly dated facility in a block in the back of an industrial estate can deliver exemplary service that turns a few days in the suburbs into the kind of stay you want to write home about. For the price i would recommend this quest to any family with reason to be in castle hill for a few days over more pricey options.

Friendly helpful and happy staff and very affordable accommodation. My stay at Quest Castle Hill was for 59 consecutive nights. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had its own kitchen and laundry facilities exactly what I needed considering the time I was there and for me the location was super convenient.

Positioned close to several Shopping Centres. Rooms were clean, bed was good, amenities covered our needs for the several days we stayed. Washing machine and dryer as well as dishwasher all worked. Overall, a great stay.

Overall my recent stay was great. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms that are spacious, very good on cleanliness, and affordable for the location. I am happy to recommend this property if you are looking for value without the 5 star trimmings, very good service, and great location that's within short drives to shopping centres, restaurants, and sporting facilities.

We did not ask for it but we were placed in a Disabled one bedroom apartment. The rooms were all big so we had plenty of room to move about. The shower recess was level with the Bathroom tiled floor and if the shower head was the wrong angle it would flood the whole bathroom floor. You did not realize until you pulled the shower curtain back that there was a flood. Other than that the room was clean and it was a good bed. To wash up you had to bend down to use the sink and watch your head on the low cupboard. The low height was for a wheel chair. When booking check to see that the room you are going into is not a disabled room unless you want one.

We have stayed here many times and find it to be quiet and convenient to travel to sporting grounds close by. The rooms need a little love now, for example our oven door didn't close properly making the apartment hot while cooking. They now offer breakfast but cannot comment on this as we left early. The garden needs a lot of attention, most of the plants were dead. I understand we are in a drought but a little water and maintenance would make such a difference.

We rented a conference room for a company maternity leave send off event. The whole experience was fantastic and there were inclusions and finishing touches that made it awesome value for money.
If you have a corporate event of up to 25 people, I would highly recommend Quest Castle Hill

We were disappointed with the quality of the accommodation. Sheets and towels were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. However the chairs and couches were old and stained, and the room generally needed a refit and new furniture. Also the location is noisy. Not so much the traffic hum from Windsor Rd, but the delivery and rubbish trucks attending the industrial site outside from the early hours. Perhaps replacing windows with double glazing and heavy drapes might reduce the amount of noise, providing the internal air conditioning could cope with that. Unfortunately we won’t be going back to Quest Castle Hill.
