We stayed for a couple of days as we attended a wedding there. All the staff were exceptional and went beyond to help. The restaurant also served great food, and staff were very accommodating to adapt menu for me as I have a very specific diet.

Dear Maikat - thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and my sincerest apology for the noise issues with the air conditioner. I had actually been in that room for over 15 minutes with maintenance trying to get the air conditioner to make the noise, but unfortunately at this time is was very quiet. I would welcome you forwarding the recording so our service company can try and pinpoint the issue and resolve. I can assure you it is not taken lightly and we do everything in our power to try and keep these units well maintained and as quiet as possible. We hope that you will give us a try again in the future. Kind regards Malcolm Mathie - General Manager

We had an extended stay at The Hills Lodge in Castle Hill recently and I must say it was excellent. The staff were asked to do a couple of things out of their comfort zone to make the room accessible for my needs. Without batting an eyelid the jumped to it and it was

Would have prefer a separate interconnecting bedroom for our family of 2 adults & 2 older children just for more space & an extra TV. Pool was great as we stayed over Christmas at it was hot.....Restaurant is lovely.

As good as this hotel is, it is miles away from Sydney - 30 minutes drive with no traffic and 1.5 hours peak hour. If your are Accorplus member the pick of the hotels is Pullman grand quay. A bit pricey but best location and the rooms are suites with washing machine and dryer. The view is stunning and if your budget can handle it go for the harbour view room. You will not be disappointed! The next choice would be the Sofitel which is classy and cheaper but not as well located.
