We stayed in cabin 17 for some skiing and snow fun. We really like this place. It's pretty nice for the area. Most properties in the area show a fair amount of 'wear'. This unit has a nice kitchen area, a Jacuzzi tub (that must waste several hundred gallons of water when people use it), and a nice fireplace for...

We stayed in cabin 14 for two nights. It is a very quaint place. They've thought of just about everything you'd want or need and it is there for you. Our only complaint was the carpet. It was stained and smelled of urine in the nook area. I realize it must be hard to keep a "pet friendly" room clean....

My husband and I wanted to get away with our two little dogs for a couple of days. I had read previous reviews on Tripadvisor and was a little nervous about the cleanliness of the property since it was pet friendly. To my delight, we stayed in Cabin 17 and it was wonderful. There was no sight of pet hair...

My family and I stayed at Pine Knot Guest Ranch because of what we had read about it and that it was rated #1 here on Trip Advisor. It was the worst stay we have ever had. The room was extremely dusty, lots of spiders, the sheets were really stained with I don't even know what, and the personell was...

We are happy to change sheets any time, including daily, if that is what a guest wants. We are sorry to read this review, and wonder if there was a misunderstanding.

My family really enjoyed our stay up there. Though it was too short, we had a great time, and the cabin was clean and the kitchen was well prepared. Great hiking spot around the corner. Jacuzzi was on the money. We went in April, very tranquil and uncrowded. Gloria and Lisa are awesome and funny. Can't wait to visit again.

On President's day weekend (and for a short Valentine's celebration), we had gone up to Big Bear for some snowboarding. The town was crowded, and there was little vacancy left - except for room #12 at the Pine Knot. Although previous reviews for that particular room were not well received, we found it perfect for our needs and thought the...

We just returned from a vacation to southern California. We opted to spend three days in Big Bear mostly for snowboarding/skiing. Pine Knot Guest Ranch was ideal! I booked three nights in cabin 14. I even contacted them weeks later about lift tickets. She quickly emailed me back and gave me a week day package that included very discounted lift...

We had a wonderful experience this past weekend at Pine Knot Guest Ranch in Big Bear. We rented the Bungalow and Gloria (manager/owner) & the other people working there made everything to make us feel at home and to accommodate all our requests like promptly removing the show in the driveway at 8am on Sunday after the storm when we...

We went to big bear lake for the first time, and I was expecting something really "lakefront" and cozy. Not. I could tell that the other cabins were much better than ours. Definitelly, cabin 12 is not a good one. It is very small, improvised. It is a second floor over the offices. It was clean, though. Service is good....

We stayed in the bungalow.... Wow is all I can say! This place was disgusting. The couches and rocking chair were so dirty we were afraid to sit on them. Upon check in the lady told us the couple that stayed in the cabin before us had a large dog that shed a lot so they threw a blanket over...
