Situated in the beautiful village of Bishopsteignton this restaurant is a real find. Lovely ambiance and the food delicious. There is an extensive menu and something for everyone I had the liver, bacon and onions with mash and gravy whilst my wife had scampi and chips which looked very tasty indeed. Both meals were served quickly by very friendly and...

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago, as my usual hotel in Dawlish was fully booked (no surprise there). The staff were welcoming, once they could be found as it appears to have a very 'open walk in and sit down' type of feel, with no real front desk to speak of. After having a few drinks at the...

My partner and I stayed here for one night, having booked through Booking.com. The bed was very comfortable, and the room and en-suite were spotlessly clean, and we had a distant sea view which was nice, however the room was very cramped and small. There was a tea making tray which was stored in the bottom of the bedside table at...

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Booked by hotels.com, but kind member of staff (Francis) put us in a better room. Food was very good. Clean, tidy place. Overall very pleasing. There were pleasant gardens to sit in and enjoy the peace. Ample parking even on a busy night. Cater for all.

We only stayed at the Cockhaven Arms one night but we were very impressed - very good service, pleasant clean room and very friendly staff - would visit again. Easy to find and handy for getting round in South Devon.

The bedroom photo on this site is not representative of the room we were allocated. It was small to the point of having to push our way round the bed, and the ensuite was just an area fashioned out of the room which made the room even smaller. The only good point about it was it was a comfortable bed...

Stayed for a family get-together and was pleasently surprised. I have a reputation for being picky having worked in the hotel industry for over three decades. Bedroom was clean and presentable; all linen and towels fresh and in good condition. Modern decor with no unnessesary clutter. Although they were obviously extremely busy the staff were polite, courteous and professional. Some...

I would rather go to Wetherspoons, the atmosphere is non existent, and cold,We, among with the friends that used to meet there, will no longer, Owners, wake up!

We were down in Bishopsteignton for a family funeral and we were appreciative of the warm welcome on arrival. We were shown to our room, which was extremely comfortable and had everything that we would need - TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. The room had been tastefully refurbished and we had a great view of the Teign estuary....
