We arrived for dinner without a reservation on a cold, wet, windy night, but were greeted warmly nonetheless. Our order was taken and our food arrived in good time. My fish, chips and mushy peas was generous in size and crispy in finish. My partner's seafood linguine was also good.

Amazing. Great. Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard, and all really clean. The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Nathan, the manager is so helpful and ensured we all had a good stay. Prices are reasonable too.

This was our first visit and certainly not our last. We were treated like royalty and had a terrific time. The staff are outstanding and I have never seen such a clean hotel. One of the best Christmasses we've ever had.

Didn't stay, had a family Christmas meal booked - on first arriving, the bar area seems to have been nicely done up so was expecting great things, especially as there are new owners in situ. However, we were put into a back room - no Christmas decs or music, there was a load of chairs stored at one end of...

Spent two nights here last weekend and it was a great experience from the moment we arrived until, sadly, we had to say goodbye! The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The food (both the evening meal and the breakfast) delicious and perfectly presented and the rooms are all beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and immaculate. The beds were so comfortable...

It wasn't large but very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable with excellent pressure in the shower The food and service was excellent and...

Visited on Friday 7th for mums birthday. The place is great, log fire burning although we sat in the conservatory which was nice and warm also. The food, wine and service was first class (as always). We felt a bit bad as dad was recovering from pneumonia and it was his first trip out and he left a lot of...
