When the French army destroyed much of the Palatinate in 1648, the soldiers left Meisenheim alone, and the result is this hotel is located in one of the younger buildings -- only about 200 years old, instead of one of the older buildings, some of which are more than 400 years old. The town is small and utterly charming, easily... More

A welcoming hotel. Located between the river Glan and the little brook with the waterwheel. Great location to visit the little town. Room with all you need for overnight stay, large, clean and with a good furniture distribution. The only little “defect” was the shower curtain. I, honestly, prefer the doors. Anyway the cleaning was very good. Breakfast with a... More

We were lucky enough to get a room overlooking the gently babbling brook behind the property which provided for an extremely wonderful night's sleep. The hotel and surrounding area were both very quiet so we could easily enjoy the gently running water below our balcony. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and served by the very-friendly owner. We enjoyed fresh coffee,... More

We spent a long weekend at this hotel and upon our arrival Petra the owner was very welcoming. Our room was well furnished and we had a lovely balcony overlooking a waterwheel. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, with good food and a choice of coffee/ tea etc. The town of Miesenheim is lovely, very medieval buildings but very welcoming.... More

This hotel is situated on the river in the old town. Inside it has been completely renovated and apart from an old-fashioned shower curtain in the bathroom (if it slips out the bathroom is flooded) the rooms are pleasantly decorated. Ours had a balcony as well. There was a friendly welcome on arrival and a lock-up garage for our bikes.... More

We stayed here for the second time, and had a very good time. The hotel is next to the river has nice and quiet rooms. In the morning, an excellent breakfast is served. Staff is very friendly. We will be back.

This is a small but very nice hotel, located in an old water mill building. The decoration of the (small) lobby is trendy and welcoming, as well as the spacious rooms. In the lobby area, you can relax after a long trip, and what makes it so, how should I say, cosy and familiar in a way is the fact... More
