This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful rain forest. Trails and surrounding area is also beautiful. the hotel is very unique made with all wood and very unusual architecture. The wood insulates well, and therefore the room was quite warm. We had to keep the door to the balcony partly open all night. They were also quite unbending regarding... More

The hotel is amazing. Breakfast was good and the service overall was pretty good too. Not much English speaking staff, so if you have no Spanish, a translating app worked great. The one downfall was that quite a bit was closed because of the season and we weren't aware of this before we checked it. The fall was a great... More

The location is just great. All the wood walls make it cozy and it makes you feel as if in a fairy tale. You can wonder off by many of the trails around and have a one on one encouter with nature. You can visit a nearby animal reserve withraindeers and wild pigs, preatty awsome for the kids. You can... More

Room was big and we had a small balcony which was nice. Heating was not able to be controlled and we were often way too hot, leaving the balcony door open to help. All through the facility there seemed to be heating on too high and this did not seem to align with the environmental priorities. We were there 3... More

When we first arrived, we were excited to stay in such a lovely place. As we spent more time, the service turned out to be quite disappointing. The spa was dirty and unwelcoming. The staff in the restaurant for the most part was neglectful. The view from our room was lovely, but apparently a bug or something wanted to eat... More

we expected great things here but room overlooked plastic. Food was dull. wine was good though! Staff nice but studentish. Rooms small and bathrooms poky. Not a lot to do unless you were into rafting or ziplining. Lovely young guide was a student and was the only real English speaking guide and had taught herself a little about flora and... More

A remarkable structure in a remarkable location that has to be visited for its novelty value. Service was mixed and first room we were allocated wasn't clean and had a smashed unusable toilet! After a protracted argument we were given a better room on a higher floor which had a nice balcony. The spa was grubby but pool was usable.... More

I understand this is a UNESCO site, an ecology project and provides local employment but it was not the place for me. It felt like Centre Parks in some respects in that some facilities are included in your price and others not. However the scenery is absolutely stunning as the Andes provides the backdrop for everything. I went with my... More

We had a very bad experience at the hotel, 2 out out of 3 nights we didn't have hot water for the shower. The food and beverage is a lot worst that expected for a hotel of this price range. The excursions were also very bad organized, for instance the last day the guide fall asleep and we were assigned... More
