Very unimpressed with this Hotel Nothifagus and Huilo Huilo complex. It is promoted as an "ecological nature reserve, living in the forest". We got a room facing the road and car park, with traffic noise. The entire complex feels very artificial and contrived - perhaps if you have a young family and have never been outside a city before you...

The stay during April/16 on this hotel was great. The hotel has a great atmosphere, all made of wood which gives a great sensation of being in the middle of the jungle. The staff was nice and helpful, there was tea every afternoon in the lobby and the breakfast was amazing. Food in the restaurant by the night was good...

Book the hotel nothofagus in February 2016 to go with my family on holiday. We traveled by car and stopped in Villarrica at night as the road to the hotel is more tortuous at night. From Villarrica we take 3 hours of travel between beautiful landscapes on the road. On arrival, check in at the hotel at 15:00 and while...

I read couple reviews and I don't know if the changes were made post reviews but the food at this hotel is amazing. I travelled many places and Houston has interesting food so while not a foodie myself, I still find that reviews don't do justice to the restaurant here. The variety, the taste, freshness and presentation is top notch....

I loved this hotel. I read some reviews that there are better places to stay. Well, maybe. But this one is unusual, there is a tree inside it. All is of wood. Very attractive and cosy. Beautiful area around. There is a balcony in most of the rooms. I stayed in a suite, on the highest floor, there was no...

Huilo Huilo was recommended from my travel agent. On the description I have received, the hotel sounds like a good option for the way to Southern Chile. First minutes ok. By a closer look not comparable to the other hotels/lodges I stayed here in Chile. *** says everything. Dinner ok. ECO in my bathroom means slope glass door at the...

The drive to Huilo Huilo was super beautiful, the hotel was in general pretty good, strongly suggest to rent a car, otherwise you will feel stranded there and if you're not the type that would still enjoy going on excursions on raining days then you might want to re-consider since it rains like 80% of the time there. The food...

This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful rain forest. Trails and surrounding area is also beautiful. the hotel is very unique made with all wood and very unusual architecture. The wood insulates well, and therefore the room was quite warm. We had to keep the door to the balcony partly open all night. They were also quite unbending regarding...

The hotel is amazing. Breakfast was good and the service overall was pretty good too. Not much English speaking staff, so if you have no Spanish, a translating app worked great. The one downfall was that quite a bit was closed because of the season and we weren't aware of this before we checked it. The fall was a great...
