Limak Lara Deluxe Hotel & Resort's atmosphere is often celebrated for its vibrant entertainment and family-friendly vibe, which guests find engaging. The prime location near beaches and local attractions has been popular among many visitors, although the area's hustle and bustle occasionally lead to noise complaints. While the cleanliness and variety of amenities receive positive remarks, some travelers have suggested improvements for pool temperatures and minibar provisions. Service quality generally garners praise for its friendliness, yet there are instances of slow service and staff rudeness reported. Rooms are seen as spacious, but opinions on noise and decor vary, with some pointing out the need for updates. Concerns are also raised about the hotel's value, with guests encountering unexpected fees and questioning the cost-quality ratio.

Let me start by saying, this was the best family holiday our family have ever had, my only regret was not booking for longer than 7 nights.

The pools were incredible and the entertainment staff worked so hard to ensure people had a great time ❤️

The beach parties, foam parties and pool parties were amazing. Entertainment at night was also very good. Drinks were lovely and their beer (Efes) was very good.

The Beach was incredible and if you get chance to have a day on the sun loungers on the pier ( which we did a few times) it is wonderful. Jumping off the pier into the sea and having drink on tap from the beach fridges 🙌

The reviews about towels and cats - ignore. The free towels were lovely and the cats, though wild, brought my children so much joy. I love the way the hotel let them wander round. The hotel is also very very clean….the staff spend hours making sure everything is pristine.

We hired a Boat one day to see the waterfalls and swim in the open sea which was amazing! We also went on the sea water sport rides - the people who we hired from were wonderful and so helpful. Also hired a beach Cobana for the day for £100 - well worth it and the waiters brought us drinks all day and made sure we were well catered for. The beach is so clean.

The food is the best I’ve ever tasted on an all inclusive holiday - absolutely delicious and so much choice. My particular favourite was the midday meal at the bars near the pool.

I’m being really picky now - the rooms are lovely but I would say more 4* rather than 5*- we stayed in a family room, which was great but a bit tired in places. Air con was wonderful and no issues at all 👍

All interactions inside and outside hotel were respectful and always made to feel comfortable.

I would come back in a heartbeat Turkey you exceeded all expectations.

Thank you Limak Lara for a beautiful holiday ❤️

I have just returned from this wonderful hotel, had a fantastic stay. The room was huge, very comfy beds, I liked the dressing room instead of a wardrobe, and had nice balcony facing the sea.
The mini bar was filled every day, the mini bar guy was lovely, very friendly and every day he would leave a nice little surprise.
Housing keeping were great, the room was spotless, every couple of days left nice new bathrobes and slippers and the toiletries were always refilled. The day I was leaving as I walked to the lift the housekeeper called me and said she had a gift for me, she gave me a hug and said she would miss me, it was a lovely touch, I had a tear in my eye.
The bar staff were wonderful, young, well mannered and so friendly. They would chat with you and never leave you without a drink. I was alone for a few days but never felt lonely, all the bar staff made me feel welcome but one young girl would give me a hug whenever she saw me, it was nice to know they actually care about their guests, lovely.
The restraints were amazing, main and the Far East and Italian. The food was brilliant with such a huge choice in the main restaurant, every meal there was was always a great selection, I would say for all inclusive the food is exceptional, I have stayed in a lot of hotels and the Limak Lara is one of my top choices.
The service in the restaurants was also very good, never had to wait for a seat and drinks would be at the table within a few minutes of sitting down.
All in all I would say this was a great hotel. I only had one problem, I had booked a double room for a week for 2 people, my boyfriend lives in Ankara and he wasnt sure when he would arrive due to work, I had emailed the hotel and told them this and was told it would be fine. He arrived on the Tuesday night and when we went to check him into the room, it was a bit embarrassing because we were told because he did not have a British passport we had to pay more money if he wanted to stay, at first it was very annoying to think we had to pay again but paid the money and enjoyed our holiday. When I was checking out it was the same guy at the desk and he explained the situation to me and told me it was because of the company I booked through, he told me the companies to use in future, I understood and know it was my own fault because I didnt read the small print. This isn't really a complaint just a warning to others just check the small print when you are booking if someone in your party doesnt have a British passport. I still had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be back at the Limak Lara soon

I stayed here last year February 2019 and returned back again this year. The staff and service provided is amazing, I can't thank the staff enough for everything they do here. They go the extra mile for their guest service with a smile. I truly believe I returned again is down to the staff, its not easy travelling with young children. I have interacted more with the bar staff if I'm honest, the endless coffees, drinks for the children and warm milk for my toddler oh and not forgetting the bar nuts hahaha. A massive thank you to Hamdullah, Gulten, Mehmet, Ercan, Ridwan and so many more the list is endless. The bell boy Ebrhim is always a pleasure to see in the morning with his bubbly smile.

The animation team are amazing and go out their way to get everyone involved, I have to say I haven't laughed so much in a while Limak Lara definitely have a fantastic team here. Ali, Nimo, Katarina and the rest do a fantastic job with everything they do, the only question I have is do they ever sleep lol always there when u need them. Limak Lara have fantastic performances each night and you will never be bored and if you have a bedtime you will soon forget about it while your stay at the hotel 😉😉

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and one thing I have noticed is how hands on the supervisors and managers are here and not hiding away in an office. Marina, Guney, Unsal, Mehmet Asil are always there interacting with the guests and making sure they are comfortable to the high standards they hold at this hotel. They are one big family and all work so well as a team, I have even see them clearing tables in the bar area.

Unfortunately on this trip we did have a incident where the shower head fell on my sister's head while she was taking a shower, she was very fortunate she wasn't badly hurt. When I mentioned it to guest relations they were quick to fix the shower head in minutes and very apologetic and offered us a meal in their paying restaurants at the hotel for a family of 4 but the catch is we are a family of 7 staying in 2 rooms. Guney asked his manager Unsal and he authorised for 7 of us to dine at the restaurant, which was very kind of them to offer. The following day the lovely Marina made the reservation for us. The Italian was amazing, full of flavour and if I was paying for the meal I would be extremely happy to pay €12 a head for a 4 course meal. I even mentioned to Guney they were under charging for restaurants hahaha.

Our stay here was amazing as always and I can't wait to come again in June this year for celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary.

A massive thank you to everyone at Limak Lara for making our holiday memorable.

Stayed in 2 rooms for Christmas and New Year 3 adults and a teenager.
Initial impressions ok the lobby and rooms do not have the wow factor of a lot of the other hotels in the area.
Rooms very spacious, free safe, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes, slippers. Also provided were face masks and anti bac wipes so do not worry about packing too many masks). Masks also provided in the restaurant. These had to be worn when inside the hotel
Drinks, must admit disappointed, it's the first 5 star in Turkey I have been to where rum is not included in the All Inclusive (it is 5€ a shot) there are also no top brand spirits and limited cocktail options. We did ask if we could upgrade the all inclusive but was told this was not an option. The service in the bar was fantastic and must give praise to both Ali and Ramazan who's service was amongst the best we have ever encountered anywhere.
We loved sitting on the beach bar which was opened daily and a perfect spot, there was often live music in the afternoon.
The food was mixed and often very samey. We hated the Zen Restaurant it was like being in a school canteen, very chaotic and often struggled to get a table. We ate our food as quickly as possible just to get out. There is a vegan corner which also provided gluten free options.
To escape the Zen Restaurant we found ourselves booking the A La Carte Restaurants. These are 12€ cover charge each and can be booked the day before.
The service and food at both these (Italian and Asian) were great and worth the charge.
The Christmas Eve gala meal was amazing in every aspect. The new year's meal however just seemed chaotic.
We used the spa, treatments great but thought they were too pushy trying to sell further treatments.
There is also a games zone, we paid 9€ an hour for billiards. There was also bowling and PS5 machines for a charge.
Grounds are stunning and well maintained, the interior is starting to look a little worn in my opinion, lots of tatty furniture and unfortunately areas smelling of cats.
Cats roam this hotel freely and are even in the restaurant. On our first day we even noticed a couple taking a cat into their bedroom!! They are on the sofas in the bar and chairs in the restaurant which I personally found highly unhygienic and there was a strong cat smell on several sofas. There was also one rainy day in the restaurant where there was around 12 birds flying round indoors sitting on the tables and taking food off people's plates which again totally unhygienic.
On the whole really liked the hotel, the best asset of the hotel is the amazing staff force who work tirelessly. I would call it deluxe though.
Would I return? No, simply due to the chaotic restaurant and cats.

So where to start except that I stayed 13 days in this hotel which claims to be a 5* deluxe

at first sight i was surprise by the kids swimmîgpool which is hyper pleasant.
Second strong point: it is the cleaning. The maid who took care of room 1603 from 1/8 to 12/8 is just perfect, kind and very available.

All the rest certainly does not deserve a 5* for me.
It is important to know that I stayed alone with three little children 2, 5 and 7 years.
When I arrived, I received a double room with a sofa bed, even though we were 4 of us and I had paid for 4 people.
They changed my room immediately. And there systematically - at least ten times my card was deactivated - I had to go downstairs each time with the three children who are generally exhausted after a day at the pool and ask my card be reactivated.

Twice the code for my safe was deactivated and then I was told that I had to wait until 12:30 to have the safe opened so that I could access my money when I had to go out to do an activity.

But that's not the worst.

The worst thing is the restaurant: an understaffed staff, it is not very pleasant when you have paid 4000€ to see people serving you with a face on the floor.
No time the table was in order. There was missing cutlery, ...
The tables are never set with tablecloths, glasses as in the most basic 5*.
We have to queue up at the buffet and it seems that the staff has been instructed to put a minimum of portions on the plates in order to save costs.
ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE you call it?
Two days ago a person scraped the pan to give me a piece of mashed potatoes for my daughter. I asked him if there was any more mashed potatoes and roast beef. He kindly told me to go ask the chef.

Snackbar near the pool. The first 6 days we ordered a pizza we received a full pizza (small but whole) and suddenly, certainly for a question of cost the portion was divided by two.
Several times 3 of the 4 had already finished their dish when the 4th could expect to receive theirs.

On the pool side there is something completely crazy. There is a waiter on rollerblades who goes to and from on the side of the pool for adults to serve them drinks (as if they were entitled to special treatment) and we II have to watch our children and well we had to take our children out of the pool to go to the bar and order a drink. Bar that is on the other side. Sea side.
One more thing. It happened to me to ask for hot milk for the bottle of my daughter to the bar in the shape of circle to the -2. The barman was very unpleasant and was not overworked, so he kindly sent me elsewhere to get my milk.

Fortunately the people who work at the bar next to the reception are super nice and very professional.

I give you 1,5/5

I'm disgusted with my stay and I'm making you aware of it but at no time were you listening to me.
I will share this experience on all social networks.

And for your information I have discussed this with other customers who were just as disgusted as I was with the service of this 3*

Dear Mrs. Aicha M, Thank you for taking your time to write a detailed review. We feel really sorry that you didn't enjoy your holiday the way you wanted to. You contacted us via social media and had a conversation with the Asst. General Manager and the Guest Relations Manager about complains. You convey that you didn’t have a sea view in your room. We changed in the same day. We fixed your room door after your information. The safe-box in the room can be opened only when the guests are also concomitantly is not allowed for the staff to open it alone. We are sorry about your dissatisfaction about our restaurant service. After your information we fixed and also we answered your free a la carte use request. We have near the pools in different areas bars. Our rollerblades can be sometimes a little bit late to the orders we are sorry about that. We also answered your free of use pavilion request. After this conversation and dedicate your request like a la carte restaurants and pavilions you said you are now happy we didn’t understand why we get later on this review. We hope to welcome you as our guests again just to provide you with a better service. Because you simply deserve the best service possible. With regards

Just returned from the best ever stay in Turkey, and we've been to Turkey many times and only stayed in 5 stars hotels,so really can compare.
Limak Lara hotel made our stay unforgettable! The staff is really caring, nice and so attentive to every guest, be that a couple or a family with kids. The effort they make to keep everything immaculately clean and desinfected is unbelievable. You really feel safe there during this difficult times. The tables at all the restaurants and cafes are desinfected constantly,as well as the whole area. They provide you with the masks any time you need it and hand desinfectants are everywhere.

Apart from the cleanliness, the entertainment is great. In fact, every evening there was a choice of 3 entertainments in different areas of the hotel, and we especially enjoyed acoustic guitar concerts by the beach.

The reception staff is great, especially I would like to thank Darina who was always so attentive and always ready to go an extra mile and made us feel really welcome.

The food choice is unbelievable! Even a very picky eater will find something they would enjoy.

All areas are really well looked after, the swimming pools are so nice and clean, the beach is great!

There's absolutely nothing there that we didn't like. I can only highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any type of traveller, and definitely will return there again and again. I think we finally found a perfect hotel!

Hotel limak lara it's a wonderful place for our lovely holiday we enjoyed it here with sunshine and the amazing view. Good variety of food including main buffet (served) outdoor turkish, Italian and Asian cuisines. Hired a private cabana which was cheap but luxurious with service all day. There are a number of pools with shade and brilliant sunshine, lots of sunbeds and shaded areas. All day pool drinks service with a smile on rollerskates, and ice cream in thr afternoons. The entertainment is varied and fun, the animation team work hard all day and night to entertain you and make your stay enjoyable. The covid restrictions are discreet which enables you to enjoy your stay. All staff wear face masks and disinfect all surfaces constantly even the toilets are manned and cleaned every 30 mins. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a summer holiday. 5 star rating thoroughly well earned.

Updated review to previous one - Wedding at Limak Lara

My partner and I stayed at Limak Lara in April as we were getting married there. Initially our experience was appalling, our room wasn't clean enough, there was hair all over bedsheets which concerned me, I wasn't sure if the bedsheets were changed etc. Our shower kept flooding due a blockage, we didn't get regular clean towels without requesting from the reception and the room itself was in a very noise side. You'd get woken up by housekeeping banging against walls with hoovers or trolleys, kids screaming early in the morning and tour guides harassing you.

As we were getting married in the hotel, we did enquire about the honeymoon suite and the hotel manager refused to provide this to us without us paying extra. Now I don't always expect to get free stuff but you'd think that as you're paying soo much money for the wedding to the hotel, it would be a gesture of good. However, this wasn't the experience we had. Additionally, other people who arrived at the same time as us had an upgrade to their rooms even if they had similar booking to us. It felt like the manager of the hotel just wanted to make extra money.

Anyway, after speaking to guest relations, Güney Şakar, our experience did get better. Our rooms were cleaned, we got our clean towels and housekeeping checking the cleanliness of the room regularly. Additionally, we did get upgraded to a much better room where we did take lovely pictures as I was getting ready on our wedding day. Güney did ensure that our experience within the hotel was better and checked on us regularly. He is a real asset to that hotel ensuring guests staying are happy with the service, so if you have any issues, I would strongly recommend talking to him.

One thing to mention would be, it is difficult to get people to the hotel if they are not guests (understandable due to security) so it was a bit of pain to get out guests in earlier for the wedding. Also, in the evening, once our wedding was over, they cleared all the tables without allowing people to take the bit of the wedding cake back with them. My partner and I didn't even get to try our wedding cake, and when we asked what happened to it...they said it has been thrown out. It was quite a large cake and only 45 people, so other than our slices, there should have been some left over. Some of our guests were really disappointed that they didn't get to try the cake.

Overall, I am gutted that we didn't get the best experience at the start, and only had it for the last 2 nights we were there but I guess it is better than nothing. Thank you to guest relations team for making this better.
I have still attached a screenshot of my last review as a reference.

Just returned from a nice relaxed week at the LL, myself, husband and teen son.

Room … Our room was lovely (2113) as you walked through the door to the left was a shower room, then stairs down into the lounge/sofa bedroom and then down a few more steps to the double bedroom which also had a shower room and a jacuzzi, due to winter the rooms were quite chilly so the jacuzzi was a blessing. Both rooms had wardrobes, TVs, the mini bar and tea/coffee facilities were in the lounge/sofa bed room. The safe was in the main bedroom wardrobe. Not sure if in summer months whether anything other than Coke, Fanta, Sprite and Water is put in the mini bar.
The main bedroom overlooked the main road and shops, quite noisy, the lounge overlooked a pool … that would be lovely in the summer months. The walls were paper thin (as most hotels are) you could quite easily hear conversations in the next room.

Food … the food was hit and miss, but plenty of it. The salads were extremely fresh and tasty. We never went hungry.
Service in there was also good, house wine wasn’t very nice and they did have a trolley with better wines which you had to pay for … never seen this before in a 5* hotel

Entertainment … each night their seemed to be a kids disco and either a show or singers, also bingo and karaoke, It’s all indoors due to the season.

Bar … I was quite disappointed with the drinks on offer, I fancied a Malibu and pineapple, I was told it’s not available until summer season … they use tiny little spirit bottles for spirits and also for the cocktails … they were way to strong for me, again not sure if this is because it was winter concept or whether these bottles are used whatever season?

Beach Bar … we spent our afternoons sat here, service was really good, we met a couple of the animators here and they were really nice Alena and Tarik.

The weather was surprisingly nice … think we picked the best week … 18 degrees.

Indoor heated pool … this is a decent size and we used it a couple of times, my son used the gym and spa .. he said it was great.

Overall the hotel did not disappoint, all staff we encountered were lovely and work very hard, and I would return just to see the difference in high season.
The location is fab 10 minutes from the airport with lots of shops around. We love Lara Beach, however, If you want bars and restaurants then Lara Beach is not for you.

Sena and Ali made our stay really pleasant. Out of all the staff working the restaurant and the bar, I think these are the only ones who would interact socially (and politely) and smile (even with masks on, people can tell) at the guests. A massive thank you to the both of you.

This is the first hotel, let alone an alleged 5* hotel, I’ve ever stayed in without an iron in the room. When asked to borrow one, I was told we needed to buy our own as they don’t KEEP one in the resort (how are your tablecloths so wrinkle-free?).

Taxi to the Old Town provided by the hotel costs 3x more than if you were to hail one down yourself across the resort.

All in all, this 5* family-friendly resort is underwhelming. We stayed here for 6 nights but we could’ve done with a shorter one.

The cats do wander around the resort but I think that goes for most resorts in that area. I wouldn't know if the water slides will be open or if the pools will be heated as we went in September when the temperatures were 30+ so all slides were open and the pools were the perfect temperature for the heat. The hotel are really friendly so might be worth contacting them to ask. I hope this helps.
