The Royal Holiday Palace delights numerous guests with its exceptional cleanliness and well-kept facilities, including rooms and pool areas. The hotel's amenities, like diverse pools and entertainment choices, consistently receive high marks. The spacious rooms are commended for their upkeep, though a few guests find them slightly outdated. Service at the hotel often earns praise for its attentive nature, despite some reports of inconsistent experiences and communication issues. While the lively atmosphere is a hit for many, additional charges and occasional noise are seen as drawbacks for some travelers.

The hotel staff were exceptional from our rooms housekeeper who was diligent & respectful and kept our room spotlessly clean, to the waiting on and bar staff, who always accommodated our large party of 13, including children of different ages. The staff always greeted you with a smile and went out of their way to quickly resolve any requests or queries. The animation team were average with repetitive music and shows, although the younger adults in our group loved the pool and beach parties.
The hotel facilities were exceptional for children and families from the pool and beach areas, to the multiple water slides, play areas and fair rides.
Despite the hotel being busy there was always plenty of seats and shade at the pool and beach areas, with all areas kept spotlessly clean
The hotel had a number of A La Carte restaurants which you paid a supplemental €20 or €30 for. We tried the Turkish and Tapinyaki ones and had a fabulous night at both. The staff in the Turkish restaurant were attentive and really good with our tired children, they also provided surprise birthday cakes and a song as two of our party had birthdays while we were at the hotel. The Tapinyaki chef was amazing, a really skilled chef as well as an entertainer who kept us engaged with both the quality of his food and his banter for a whole evening. I would highly recommend both experiences.
The only downside to the hotel was its proximity to its neighbours on Lara Beach, as no matter where you were in the hotel you could hear the animation teams and music from the hotels in either side

Dear Trish, Thank you for your detailed review and for choosing Royal Holiday Palace for your family vacation. We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience with our staff, from housekeeping to restaurant services, and that the children in your group enjoyed the variety of activities available. It is our goal to ensure that all of our guests, regardless of age, feel comfortable and entertained throughout their stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the entertainment, and we will take your comments into consideration as we continuously strive to enhance our offerings for guests of all preferences. While it is wonderful to hear that the younger adults in your party enjoyed the pool and beach parties, we understand that repetition in shows may not appeal to everyone. We also note your comment on the proximity to our neighboring hotels. Given the vibrant nature of Lara Beach and the high concentration of resorts in the area, there can be some overlap in external noise, despite our efforts to minimize its impact on our guests' experiences. We apologize if this affected your enjoyment and will continue to explore options for mitigating any disturbances. Thank you once again for your kind words and constructive feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back to Royal Holiday Palace in the future. Best regards Royal Holiday Palace Management

We have just got back from staying here for 7 nights (2 adults and 3 children) we had 2 rooms and these were next door but not interconnecting (only down side to the rooms) plenty of space and comfy beds. The food was average (like most all inclusive) always something to eat but after a week it’s enough. The pool in this hotel is probably the best pool I’ve ever seen as it basically runs from the back of the hotel to almost entrance of the beach. You don’t have to get out and change to another pool etc, kids absolutely loved it. The slides were pretty good and never a queue. The beach and pier were nice but as most of the beaches in turkey it’s quite stoney instead of proper sand. Plenty of bars to get drinks etc. iced Coffee is lovely on a morning and the beer is pretty good. I put our towels on loungers at 6:30 but there is that many that you can basically go down at anytime and still find space. The Amphitheatre was good and mini disco was great for the kids. Entertainment was good but would have been better to have a bit more variety. The Entertainment during the day is pretty good and always stuff to do. Mr Borat and Omar were great with the kids etc and really made an effort. On our last day we didn’t leave hotel till 9pm so we asked to keep 1 of the rooms and they said we could until 4pm for €30 which was pretty good as we then got to make the most of the last day. Overall we had a good week away before the kids went back to school.

We are pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed several aspects of your visit, including our extensive pool area and the various activities we offer. We appreciate your comments about the pool, which is indeed one of our standout features. We are delighted that your children had such a great time and that the pool area met your expectations. It's also wonderful to hear that you enjoyed our slides, which are designed to provide fun without long waits. I visited this hotel with my partner, son and parents at the start of September and wasn't disappointed. On arrival the hotel looks stunning and once you enter the hotel you are blown away with how beautiful it is and spotlessly clean. Check in process was simple and our cases were delivered to our room.

The hotel room was lush and very spacious, the only downside to our room was that the balcony was tiny and we had a shower over bath, would have much preferred a walk in shower but the shower worked perfectly well.

The pool area is massive and immaculate, the areas were constantly getting cleaned and we were always been asked for drinks. There were plenty of food and drink bars around the pool areas so you wont go hungary or thirsty.

The buffet food restaurant was the best all inclusive I have been too, the variety of food was great, the staff were great.

The hotel is classed as a 5 Star but I feel that there could be some room for improvement. My dad has mobility issues and the hotel is quite large, it should have been stated that the hotel wasn't suitable for people with mobility issues. We hired a wheelchair for him which we had to pay 10 euros per day, I think after the amount of money that we paid to stay there then the wheelchair should have been provided free of charge and the only other complaint was the WIFI, it is absolutely terrible so that needs majorly improved.

All in all we have a great time.

We arrived at the hotel and once inside the lobby we got the wow factor with it's grand entrance, on arrival staff were friendly and our luggage was taken to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and we had a double and single in ours as we had our niece with us. The bathrooms are.lovely with a bath shower and sink and toilet. Although it's hard to remember the toilet paper doesn't go down the look but into the bin.

The buffet restaurant is where we ate breakfast and lunch, you won't find your standard English breakfast here. But you will find fresh pancakes , cheeses and meats, breads and lots of random other bits and bobs.
Dinner I stuck to what I know which was chips, onion rings and chicken/lamb. At first there looks a lot of choice but much of the counters are repeated I guess due to the size of the hotel. We didn't try any of the specialists restaurants but these are 20 euros extra each. Myself and my wife did enquire about a romantic dinner on the pier but that was 450 euros which we weren't going to pay. The baklava here is amazing and is must try especially the one that looks like shredded wheat.

People get up very early to put towels around the pool and even my father in law getting up at 6am still wasn't early enough to get the seats wanted.

Lunches were a bit disappointing we often found our self at the pizza counter but you will find yourself queuing for some time. The pool bar you can also order off the menu stuff like hamburgers, chicken wraps, chips (stay away from the Kentucky fried chicken) .

The waterslides are pretty fun but get busier throughout the day so get on them in the morning.

My biggest piece of advice is flip flops you don't mind wearing everywhere as the ground is so hot it even burns through hard bottomed watershoes.

All in all it was alright, the entertainment is a bit rubbish and the next door hotel sounds like it's far more fun. The entertainment starts pretty late so if you have kids you probably won't get to see it as it starts at 9:30 for the shows and 22:30 in the pool bar.

There are many differences from our first visit in 2012.
In 2012 on arrival we were greeted with arrival drinks when checking in, and this is not the case now.
The rooms were immaculate and there were slippers and a dressing gown for the guests, now there are only slippers, and the rooms although clean & tidy are looking dated & tired. Our bath plug failed to open and close via the automatic knob so when showering the bath would fill up with water. the only solution was to remove the plug completely. The sink took 15 mins to drain when running water for a small amount of time. in 2012 you were able to use 1 x A La Carte Restaurant per week of your stay, now it is €20 per person per visit.
The entertainment staff are only interested in selling you bingo tickets on a Wednesday for €24 a strip. During my two weeks stay i was only approached by the Entertainment staff on a Wednesday to purchase tickets. On my previous stay the entertainment staff were often around the complex chatting to guests informing them of what activities were on offer and generally checking everything was ok, again this personal touch is no longer there. The nine O'clock rule for reserving sun loungers by putting towels on is still in operation but is not being enforced. You can arrival at the pool at 08:15 and the majority of loungers are reserved but not a single person in sight.
The laminate floor in the lobby bar has become swollen and has a large lump in it, which is dangerous when walking over it. The buffet in the morning is very good with lots of choice, however in the evening it becomes a bit of a lottery if you are to receive hot or cold food. The evening food is very repetitive and if staying for more than 7 days it becomes a challenge.
The food outlets outside are very good, but your timing has to also be good as the only open at certain times. The majority of the bar staff are good, friendly and helpful and if you are lucky you will served by Hassan in the restaurant, Alisan in the pool area and Semra in the lobby bar as these employees offer great friendly service at all times.
Although the hotel did not appear to be at full capacity there was no availability for a late check out on this occasion, and the only option of a shower before departure was in the Wellness centre that shuts at 7pm.
In 2012 this hotel was definitely 5 star, but lack of maintenance, peeling paint on ceilings, even simple things like the "Y" missing from the "Royal Holiday Palace" sign do not make this hotel 5 star.
In fact the only thing about this hotel being 5 star is the price.

This is our first time experiencing the hotel. We're having a real bomb vacation. Keeping your food clean is great, and the snacks are always distributed very well and you never go hungry. My son loved the aqua parks. I can say my son didn’t get out of the miniclup with plenty of kids’ activities. Their chefs thank Miss Mystery and Melisa Vildan Yiğit and Evelina. In the evenings, there are plenty of fun animation shows. Their managers thank Mr. Derya and his team

I stayed in the Royal Holiday Palace from the 27th June for 1 week with my 2 children .
The pool is the best swimming pool I have been in . It is huge , lots of shaded areas to escape from sun so ideal for children. The entertainment team are fun and make a lot of effort .
Also not to forget the hard work of all the staff behind the bars and waiters and also the people who clean around the pool all day . You don't see many empty glasses for long around the beds etc and are always smiling and helpful
. Nice variety of food in the restaurants . Pool bar offers crispy chicken and chips burgers which is godsend for fussy children like mine.
Coffee is lovely, wine is lovely which is good for all inclusive as often wine is horrid. Varied choice of cocktails and drinks . Lots of bars and seating so it never feels like the hotel is over crowded.
Room is great and spacious and kept clean every day
Just one think I would say is that no iron is available so bring one if u like to iron clothes on holiday

I would say if ur tempted by this hotel then book it , I never go to the same hotel twice but I will visit again for sure.

Well done Royal holiday palace . Fantastic hotel . 👏

We stayed at Royal Holiday Palace for the second time. The rooms are a bit dark and slightly outdated from the decor here - but we stayed there almost only for sleeping. The minibar is replenished daily with water, soft drinks, juices and beer. An electric kettle, coffee and tea are also provided. Cleanliness is very important throughout the hotel, all staff are very friendly and accommodating. The choice of food and drinks is huge, unfortunately the food (at least at dinner) is only lukewarm. Wifi was available in our room - on the balcony and on the beach the reception is hardly possible. We would also go there for the third time on holiday.

This is a great place for families, the location on the coast gives this a mixed pool and seaside vibe, the entertainment team work really hard to get you up and enjoying yourself, shout out to Omar, though they'll leave you alone if you want quiet. Rooms are nice and the service all round is excellent, they do okay with the food, lots of options throughout the day, it isn't always hot but feeding so many people and nationalties is a challenge they manage sufficiently well. Massages are well worth it, make sure you get at least 20% off from the guy who walks around the pool selling them!
Would consider going back, as long as it's not a heatwave again!
