The family is extremely nice and friendly. The food is good and the location is convinient. The overall experience was amazing. The owner even took us to his celler for a wine teasting. I would totally recommend if you are anywhere nearby. :)

Friendly hosts, great and homegrown cuisine. A lot of animals for kids. Beautiful nature with a lot to do in surrounding. Castles with rich history. Thermal pools nearby, beautiful river Krka And.. Oh.. That wine.

I can't praise this place enough the owners are really friendly. when we arrived we were taken to the wine cellar for wine tasting. Food both in the evenings and at breakfast was amazing - all home produced on the farm. The donkey and Horse were on constant duty with the kids - and we were allowed to feed the animals with the farmer. Room was comfy and a common kitchen living area was also available. Great to find a place serving traditional Slovenian food with a little live music each night for families. booking direct allows you to select half board - the evening meals are fabulous.

Good place to eat (bio eco) food. Homemade food - a lot of choise. Rooms are big enough and clean. All family really lives their drams. A good wine - the boss was king of cvicek. Maybe next time could offer us a sauna or some more things for adults, very suitable for kids. We will come again.

I had never been in Slovenia before. We where dropped off with a bus in this place and emmediately the welcome was really warm. We had to taste all the wine they produce themselves. The rooms where nice, clean and cosy. The animals on the farm made my stay there the best. There were 4 days old piglets, cows and donkeys. The cats and dog are too sweet for words. And the best is too see how they care about them with love. The family runs this farm all together. They make tasty home - made and grown food. I would recommend this place a lot for people with children to get out of the city.

A charming place run by a charming couple . Milena the owner is an example of excellent service and warms to the visitors. Some rooms are less comfortable but the place and the warm atmosphere is something unique.

We arrived after a full day of water play at Terme Catez. Within five minutes we were here and greeted by the owner who promptly led us to sample his wine (and fresh apple juice for the kids). What a sampling of great Slovenian wine! Our room was perfect for the five of us with a family room down the hall to relax in. Dinner was out of this world - true Slovenian hospitality and home cooking at its best. Breakfast was great as well with home grown and homemade choices - bread, jam, cheese, apple juice, eggs, meat, etc. The kids enjoyed a ride on the donkey before we had to leave. Highly recommended! We are so happy we stayed in this family atmosphere instead of in an apartment or hotel at Terme Catez, as we were looking for a more personable stay. We got it and hope to return!

Amazing farm with amazing home cooked food and lots of exciting things to keep the kids entertained (including helping in the farm kitchen) Make sure you don't miss the wine "Library" and the great farm produced wines. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the swimming pool a great addition for the warm summer days.
