We have recently returned from this hotel as part of a two week holiday in Borneo to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We stayed in the garden wing but in one of the upgraded rooms with an Ocean view. The room was very clean and we looked out over the garden and the beach and we spent most evenings watching...

Stayed here for a week with my Wife - if you're looking for a relaxed getaway without kids running around by the pool etc. then definitely book the Ocean Wing, it is well worth the upgrade alone simply for the fact you can have a bath on your balcony each evening watching the sunset with a beer in your hand...

Enjoyed very much. Location great. Suggest no charge for shuttle bus to city. Golf course glorious. Beautiful views of Mt Kinabalu. Indian restaurant definitely the best. Italian only average. Could not get into Japanese at time desired, last night there. Breakfast delicious. Especially the fresh fruit juices.

The ocean wing lifeguard was rude, came up to us while we were sitting at the pool lounge to say that outsiders are not supposed to sit there. We were shocked! As we were in house guest and we just had our lovely breakfast. It was such a spoiler for the day. He shouldve asked us politely first. Other than...

We have just stayed at the Rasa Ria Resort in Kota Kinabalu for Easter and it was brilliant. The kids club was perfect for the kids (9 and 11) and lying by the pool is sensational for the adults. The Ocean Wing rooms are a MUST ! The afternoon canapés and drinks were a nice way to end the afternoon....

Spent just under 2 weeks here with the family - booked through Kuoni. It's very good. The only downsides is are the number of younger kids (it was Easter) - often Asian and without any obvious supervision (especially in the buffet restaurant) and the mossies after dark. Many of the restaurants are very good - I'd steer clear of the...

This hotel has a lot going for it. The location is 30 to 40 minutes from Kota Kinabalu. The grounds and buildings are well maintained, the pools are clean and have plenty of good quality sunbeds. You can try your hand at various water sports or play golf on the excellent course. There is a variety of dining options. The...
