Our group of 5 (parents, 2 teenagers and grandparent) stayed for a long weekend in December 2019. The hotel is lovely enough, decorated to resemble old Thai style. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Some extra attention could go to the shower stalls but this is a problem all over Thailand due to the lack of proper ventilation in most bathrooms. The pool and grounds are lovely as well. There is a private beach with plenty of lounge chairs. (Beware of jelly fish!) Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of Thai and western dishes. The main complaint we had was the food service. I’ve never experienced such slow service. My husband ordered a cocktail from the pool bar and that took 20 minutes because they apparently don’t make cocktails at the bar. They are made inside the hotel and brought out to the pool bar. Ironically the pool bar is stocked with bottles of alcohol so we were a bit baffled by their system. For lunch we ate at the “coffee shop.” It took about 45 minutes from the time we ordered until we began getting our food, and the food came out at different times. It was also all lukewarm, which raises food safety issues. They didn’t even appear that busy. Dinner was the same way. For subsequent meals we decided to venture out, which required planning for rides. The resort is not within walking distance to other restaurants or the city center. For that reason we probably won’t be staying here again. …
Myself and my husband were looking for a relaxing trip to stay out of busy life and enjoy the tranquility of nature and this place fulfilled our expectations. View, green area, nice and clean private beach, huge swimming pool, helpful staff and clean environment were positive aspects of this resort. Breakfast was good, but not at the level of a 5 star hotel. We enjoyed our stay and overall liked the place, although it had some weak points, e,g. water pressure and temperature was not consistent and it was getting hot and cold when taking shower. It is an old, but pleasant place,
Spent one night in this hotel , the room is big , double bed is comfortable , bathroom is fine .. for one night its ok The buffet breakfast was very poor in term of quality and choices of food , maybe because very little customers that weekend. The hotel was empty actually. Staff do whatever the can to please but not always in a professional way. decoration is very Thai style and ok . nothing to jump out of the cliff but I guess there are worse place in this area. overall it was fine .
I used to stay here many years back, and recall it was a nice place. However, things have changed. We made a family trip reserving two rooms. We didn't realize they put us in two seperate buildings far apart. Front manager is so useless. Customers had to bare the cost. The back building is very plain old apartment. Room is much smaller than front building but called it a family room. Only plain basic IKEA bunk bed is added, then it becomes a family room. Hallway floor is made of tiles, so we can hear everytime when someone walk by from our room. Old wood decor inside need some update. Breakfast bar has very basic menu in a plain room that is hard to find. There is really nothing special to excite your morning. If you bring car, there is really no clear area for parking, and also limited. During the morning, there will be tour buses curculating around the front to pick up customers. Only few good things are the beach access and interesting look of the hotel. Services, the management, and back building need some improvement badly. It looks like a 4-star hotel, but my recent experience offers 2 stars.…
We stayed in a Ocean View room on third floor. The room is large and well equipped. King size bed and lounge area. Luxury bathroom fully equipped. Advertised at 56 sq. metres I actually thought it was 65. The hotel is on the beach and also has a beautiful pool with ample deck chairs to lay back on. The breakfast is included in the tariff and includes asian and western options. There is a beach restaurant which is open all day and covers all meal requests. Our group opted for the Thai menu items for dinner on two nights and we weren't disappointed with the taste and freshness. There is western food items but in Thailand enjoy the world's most favorite food and have your burger chips when you return home. We went solely to this hotel to have a relaxing get together with family and having the beach restaurant was a bonus as we didn't have to look elsewhere for dinner. The price of food is unbelievably cheap well under what one would expect at this type of luxury hotel. A one stop hotel where you just put the feet up and enjoy the amenties. Staff were incredibly helpful (especially with 1 family member in a wheelchair) and the most courteous staff I have met in my 50 years of travelling.…
Positive: Nice hotel - peaceful and compact. Very kind staff. Open swimming pool and own beach. Negative: Sea and beach time to time are polluted with waste, depends on wind and sea flow. Poor infrastructure surround.
This was a top hotel in the area 10 years ago but has fallen behind in facilities and service. There are much better properties available for the price. On the bright side the pool is large, interesting and well shaded. Breakfast is good enough. The beach is nice and walkable. The rooms are dated and average. The service varied from very attentive and friendly (a couple of the staff at breakfast) to indifferent in the lounge in the evening where we actually had to go get someone to wait on us...3 times. The manager was always present and was trying hard but he needs more to work with. 3 stars at best.
I guarantee you will want to revisit this resort. Excellent breakfast and the swimming pool with side spas are wonderful. Beachfront is very clean and the staff are all very helpful. Will stay again in the coming months. Invite anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet to visit this resort, very reasonable too.
Resort is very tired. None of the staff could speak English and there was no information on what the resort offered or what was available in the area. Information folders were in Thai and Russian only. Booked a king size room, put in a room with two singles. Not easy getting it changed as they did not speak or understand English. Food and drinks overpriced especially for the area. Food and drink orders were consistently taken incorrectly and brought out at different times which meant one of us was always eating at a different time. The staff are not the beautiful friendly Thai’s that we have come to know. They don’t even say good morning. No wifi. Certainly not up to the Thai standards that we have come to know and love.
Spending second of Three nights at this Pattaya hotel. Friendly staff, quick check in. Spacious room with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Great access to the beach. Nice comfortable bed, good bathroom. Well it’s news yeas eve and I can’t get an iron. Waiting time was one hour, 30 minutes. Tried to get a pool towel in the afternoon but couldn’t. Asked for one and was told to wait while the staff fetched it. They just didn’t pitch . At breakfast and tea time, always had to ask for a sweetener. They would go to kitchen and fetch it. Found that strange. Overall good hotel. Highlight were friendly staff. Taxi to the city cost 500 baht. If you want to be close to the action, this is not the place for you. Traffic is a nightmare . I love the quieter resorts so this suited me fine. Also a great family hotel with lots of space for kids as well as a large shallow pool. I would definitely return …
