We always stay here, and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Rooms are always neat and clean. I'm amazed that staff still remember your names from the previous year. When I walk out of the elevator I'm usually greeted with my name.
My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek for 5 nights in a junior suite. Let me start by saying that I am a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed at the nicest Hilton properties but there is something special about this property that makes it outshine anything I have seen elsewhere. The front desk and valets were ALWAYS friendly and ready to assist. The junior suite was perfectly laid out with plenty of room. It is clear that when designing this room that they cut no corners. Comfortable queen size bed, 2 closets, 2 side tables with drawers, 2 sinks, toilet closet, jacuzzi tub, steam shower with a seat, balcony with a table and 2 chairs, washer and drier and even provided laundry detergent, kitchen was small but well stocked. The hallways and elevators even had a high class and warm feel. Best of all though is location. This property is perfectly located next to the gondolas so getting to Telluride or the market is very convenient. Last but not least, the complimentary breakfast was perfect and being able to sit outside in the morning was a nice touch to start your day. I’m sure I forgot something but overall this is a spectacular property and we will be back.…
This was one of the most fantastic vacations we have ever had. The staff just made this fabulous. Special thanks to Molly who was just above and beyond for coordinating all our reservations and transportation. The staff just made this place feel so personalized and one on one. We always enjoyed coming back from skiing or dinner to see how the staff had something special for us. Best hotel experience in the rockies
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relaxed. Perfect location. Staff were all so helpful and genuine. Breakfast a real highlight. Room cosy and comfortable. Enjoyed watching the gondola silently go past our room. Would definitely study again and recommend to our friends.
The facility is small with just 35 rooms. The rooms could be updated but the fantastic staff was helpful and made you feel like family. They quickly knew your name and offered personal service. The included breakfast was excellent. If you want a great ski-in ski-out small personalized Inn, this is the place. We will return.
Great boutique hotel in the heart of the mountain village. Nice size rooms, comfortable beds, and the most friendly staff … Tk you Martina, Enzo, Sam, Molly, Eric, house keeping, ski valet, and entire team. Everyone went above and beyond. Look forward to staying with you again soon.
We have stayed at the Inn At Lost Creek (IALC) for six years running, each time for a week of skiing. It's a delightful boutique hotel with about 30 rooms which vary in size from studio to a small apartment. Everything works, and works well. Staff are great, breakfasts are good, the location is excellent including a short slope down to the first ski lift. Top Tip: Schedule your stay to include a Friday evening when they have a manager's reception - a great way to meet other skiers and compare notes. One complaint, and it's not the fault of IALC: The nearby "Poacher's Pub" now closes at 2:00 a.m. and there is a great deal of noise from drunks being ejected at that time who holler, fall over, etc. The granting of a liquor license requires that the server will not sell drinks to anyone who appears intoxicated, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. So for a good night's sleep, when booking ask for a room away from that side of the hotel.…
Amazing staff. Staff was very friendly it made the hotel seem like a home because they’re always so nice. It’s ski on ski off and in a great location. Hot tubs exceeded expectations and it was great to have a private sense.
We stayed from Jan 8-14. This is a small boutique place, mountain village with great ski in and out. But what makes it stand out is the exceptional personnel that are so attentive to your needs. A huge shout out to Eric, who always made sure our stay was comfortable. Sam, who also did the same and Carmine in the boot room. All great people. They know your name, wonderful ski valet service, boot on heaters every nite. Skis out and ready for you outside every morning. Housekeeping is exceptional also. Breakfast every morning was quite good with the buffet with an added special. Staff there was also quite lovely. There is not a breakfast menu, but heard they will fix eggs to order. The breakfast burrito special was a great hit. I think there are only 35 rooms there so there is no big resort feeling. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is it would be nice to have a more apres ski atmosphere. But that is right outside your door at many walking distance bars. Also the rooms could use updating. We did not try the Thai restaurant on sight so cannot rate that but have heard it is very good.…
I have traveled to and worked in virtually every mtn town in North America. Inn at Lost Creek continues to be my fave, and continues to exceed my expectations. It feels less like a hotel, and mores like a place where everyone is your friend.
