My wife almost always stay at the Inn at Lost Creek when we visit Telluride. The staff is fantastic, the hotel is very comfortable, and it’s hard to beat the location. Can’t say enough good things about the staff, we have been impressed with every person we work with at the hotel. The Inn makes our vacation experience even better. Look forward to visiting them again.
This was our second time staying at the Inn at lost creek. Both were a wonderful experience. Every hotel should have staff like this one. Everyone who worked there were very professional and caring. The breakfast was always delicious, ski valet attendants always had the skis ready, front desk friendly and always had cookies waiting after a day a skiing. Would love to come back in the summer or fall, the staff told us that’s also a good time to visit. The only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer.
Ski-in/ski-out, onsite rentals, complimentary breakfast, and restaurant/bar on-site. What more could you ask for? Excellent hotel staff? They have that too. Honestly could not have made for a better homebase on one of the better trips I've ever taken.
I've been staying at The Inn at Lost Creek since it opened. I love the location! The staff has always been friendly and responsive. The ski valet is wonderful. Having your skis outside waiting to ski to the lift is a fabulous perk! Christy Sports downstairs makes it so convenient for rentals. One of the nicest perks is the delicious free breakfast buffet. So many choices, and very healthy. This can't be matched anywhere that I know of, either in Mountain Village or Telluride. I also really like having a space that is more than a hotel room. I also love the hot tubs on the roof with fabulous views! I would say, however, that the hot tubs need repair or replacing. Many of the jets weren't working in the Sunset tub and a few weren't working in the Sunrise tub either. Overall, I highly recommend a stay at the Inn at Lost Creek. …
The staff at the Inn were unfailingly friendly and helpful. We appreciated the warm welcome and personal service. My family spent a week here over spring break skiing and riding. The location is perfect, truly ski in and ski out. View of the mountains was awesome, not to mention the view from the hot tub. This is particularly spectacular at night. Our room was clean and there was lots of housekeeping. Kitchen had enough things to make meals if you re-use the pots. We enjoyed the option of eating in the room as restaurants were very crowded, especially at lunch. The breakfast in the restaurant was nice - good selection of fruit, cereal, eggs, bread every day and a special of the day like pancakes or biscuits and gravy. Probably the most notable amenity is the ski concierge, who really makes it convenient to store your boots so they are warm and dry in the morning, plus puts your skis and boards out each morning. Coupled with the perfect location, it was easy to ski whenever we wanted. Overall, a great experience. We'd stay here again if we come back to Telluride.…
We stayed in the Kayenta 4 unit and it was one of the best ski-in ski-out locations we've ever rented. Everything about the unit from a location standpoint was great. It was easy to get to the lift and we could ski right to the back door. The two rooms plus the loft unit was perfect for our family of 4. Our younger son loved the loft area and it was a perfect size for a 10 year old. The appliances in the kitchen were nice and we made use of the gas range each morning. The only downer was the living room furniture. The couch seemed old and it was uncomfortable for sure. The leather chair was the same. I ended up sitting at the dining room table and/or laying on the floor to watch TV which wasn't great. It was silly to us to have such a great unit and have such bad furniture. But still, we would rent this unit again without question. …
While I travel extensively and often find myself in luxury hotels, this particular hotel was exceptional. The hotel staff was pleasant, eager, and gentle. While I have traveled enough to know that this last minute reservation probably didn't put me in the most renovated of rooms, the hotel owners by far won the lottery with the staff. Thank you all!
My partner and I stayed at the Inn during one of the last weekends of the ski season. This place is truly special and one of the best spots around. Our room had a spectacular view of the mountains and all of the amenities are top notch! A man by the name of Eric checked us in and helped us to our room. What a friendly guy, he provided amazing recs from his favorite trails on the mountain to some local spots in town. They were all awesome and he was extremely polite along with the rest of the staff. Lastly, the cookies and fruit infused water in the lobby are to die for. I think I helped myself to 20 cookies during our stay. 10/10 and will definitely be back!
The Inn at Lost Creek was my first time ever visiting Telluride, my oh my was it spectacular. Gorgeous view of the valley, skii on skii off, great amenities, comfortable bed and delicious restaurant downstairs. Skiis we’re ready for us outside on the mountain each morning. Great experience The staff were super friendly. Shout out to Eric who was incredibly helpful checking us in, out, and providing us with all the insights to the village and mountain town. Will certainly be back!
This is my fave place to stay in The Village. The feel is small, intimate, and friendly. At so many other properties, especially with the strain of COVID staffing, it feels like their business is coming apart at the seams. It feels like your vaca is an imposition on staff. Not so at The Inn. Everyone from the valet greeting you, to the great Thai restaurant, to the ski valet and housekeeping makes a guest feel like you are staying someplace that you are valued. Breakfast was something that I always looked forward to. The restaurant is small enough to facilitate conversations with others (if you wanted), and one always meets fascinating people visiting our little corner of Colorado. The location is probably the best in the village. t the start of your ski day the less experienced skiers can ski right down to the lifts servicing the green runs, or you can ski right to lift 4 and get on the main portion of the mtn. Olivia at the front desk is a Rock Star.…
