Location is ideal, staff is incredibly attentive. Accommodations are always clean, and they will help with anything you need! Also enjoyed Ania's Table - food and service was absolutely amazing! They always treat us like family. Won't stay anywhere else.
My family stayed in a 3 bedroom at this hotel over the summer and had a rocky couple of nights due to a noisy neighbor at a nearby hotel. The hotel manager contacted us after our stay to offer a free night on a future stay which we took her up on to plan a last minute pre-Christmas ski trip. Our stay this time has been magnificent and we are so glad we gave this hotel a second chance! Here are my thoughts -Jose is our favorite. He poses as the valet but we think he may secretly be in charge as he seems to be everywhere doing anything you need - we booked a 3 bedroom and checked in to find out they had upgraded our room. they also let us check in early, around 10 AM because the room was free . The living space and kitchen are huge with sweeping views of the mountains from every window (see pic from one of the balconies.) There are 2 balconies in the living area and one in the master. Each room has its own bathroom plus a powder room. -they include a large welcome basket in every room with wine, OJ, jelly, local bread, cheese, crackers, fruit, coffee, eggs, yogurt, granola, bacon, sausage, and more. they also left a book on telluride and truffles midway through our stay -we skied early every morning and housekeeping had already cleaned the room when we got back at 11:00 each day -steps to mountain village shops and restaurants and the gondola to take you into town -ski valet stores boots and skis and puts them out each morning on the mountain -hotel is not technically ski in ski out but it basically is because the walk to the slopes is about 50 feet from the ski valet. -cookies and water out by the check in desk every day -last but not least, the room we stayed in this time was extremely quiet. We’ve heard no noise from anyone outside our room. We will definitely stay here again ❤️…
As always an amazing stay. Beautiful condo with breathtaking views. The one we stayed in does have its own private hottub, although it broke on day two of a 3 night stay and was unable to be fixed during our stay. The hotel did their best to make it up. Location is perfect and close to the main part of Mountain Village.
From the moment we arrived to the sad moment of departure, we greatly enjoyed our Lumiere experience. Mia and John offered best in class service through and through. We were surprised to realize how conveniently located the Lumiere is, being steps away from the Gondola that takes you on a beautifully scenic ride to Telluride. The room was gorgeous, clean, and had an amazing view of the mountains. We were provided a nice bottle of wine, fresh local bread and a whole basket of breakfast items waiting for us in the refrigerator. This truly was a fantastic experience and we will absolutely be back when we visit Telluride again.
Just steps from The Madeline Hotel (Auberge Resorts), is a hidden gem that rivals the Madeline's luxurious charm and spacious and well-appointed accomodations but costs less per night. The newly remodeled Lumiere is a gorgeous boutique hotel that keeps a low profile but has a lot to brag about. The spacious layout ensures almost total privacy, we only saw a few other guests in the common areas. The layout of the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room feels like a Manhattan penthouse with the unparalleled views of Mountain Village, the San Juan mountains, the gondolas and and Aspens. The bar and lounge area are equally as sophisticated and the service was 5-star!
We had a wonderful time at Lumiere. The room was very homey and comfortable. Dinner in the lounge was delicious. Loved being away from the village center and near the mountains and gondola. The couple running the restaurant were delightful!
This intimate boutique hotel provides mesmerizing views of the San Juan mountains, enjoyed from the private balconies. The management (Clare and Bas), along with all of the staff create a friendly and family-like ambience. We've been coming back to this special hotel for years and we are always sad to leave, immediately making arrangements for the following year. Lumiere offers seclusion, intimacy, high-end accommodations and outstanding service with the convenience of Gondola access to the Telluride charm.
As always our stay was perfect here. The staff was exceptional, I would like to add additional comments about two new experiences we had during our stay. First was our massage with Izzy, omg, she was a true professional. I would rank it as one of the best massages we have every had. Secondly we had our dinner prepared by Ania, we had it delivered to the room, it was by far prepared to perfection! My ribeye was delicious and my husband had the tuna and it was so well prepared. All the sides and desserts delicious! Would definitely recommend doing both during your stay. As always thank you Bas and all the staff.
First time in Telluride and loved staying at Lumiere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was great with all the amenities. Great location and easy walk to Gondola. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to come back.
We stayed here over the summer and loved everything about this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating, the rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. If you are looking for a comfortable yet luxurious place to stay, look no further!
