It would be impossible to say enough good things about this hotel. It is truly the best in every way. From start to finish the hotel went out of their way to make our trip not just a stay but an unparalleled experience. The location is absolutely perfect, close to everything in the village but not in the noisy center of the village. It is immaculately clean. The views from our room were just breath taking. Our room was so stunningly beautiful that we could have spent the entire trip just happily sitting on one of our terraces and watching the view. We have stayed in some high end hotels but this was with out a doubt the best. The staff was so warm and accomodating. There was nothing they didn't think of. The hotel is very well set up to handle the current health situation and we felt very safe and cared for. We reserved the pool and had it all to our selves for an hour in the afternoon and it was lovely. The staff helped us arrange massages in our room and they were top notch. Our room was elegant, well furnished and spotless. They are not serving breakfast currently but they left a basket of delishious local goods that was the perfect amount for breakfast during our stay. This hotel is absolutely not to be missed.

Everyone at Lumiere was amazing. I felt that the staff truly cared about my experience and went out of their way to accommodate. Specifically, we had our stay during COVID and Maleah was extremely helpful with shifting things around and helping us feel prepared. The hotel took extra precautions everywhere and I felt safe throughout. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for that getaway experience that leaves you recharged, invigorated and a bucket full of memories, look no more. Lumiere in beautiful Telluride is your spot. We are longtime visitors of this magnificent slice of heaven as we have been coming out in the fall for over ten years now. Almost hate to share this review because then the secret will be out :) An amazing location with breathtaking views, the accommodations at Lumiere are divine. The rooms (and suites) are smartly decorated in the latest designs, yet very welcoming and comfortable. However, it is the outstanding staff that really keeps us coming back). They are caring and friendly yet very professional team lead by Claire and Bas. They have the uncanny ability to anticipate what you are looking for or wanting, even before you realize it yourself. True spoilers and gracious hosts. Outstanding!

After five visits to the Lumiere, we cannot entertain staying anywhere else in Telluride. Bas and Clare are the consummate hosts and always make us feel at home. The staff rarely turns over, so we can always count on the same folks greeting us warmly and treating us like family each time we arrive. The team is incredibly knowledgeable about town, the best places to eat, nearby hikes, excursions and other adventures. The service is matched by the accommodations, which are five-star and without pretension. Each time we arrive, we can count on a spotless, cozy and well appointed room, which includes an incredible view of the San Juan mountains, heated bathroom floors and a steam shower. There's nothing they didn't think of. The daily breakfast is always filled with delicious and local options. And if you're up for cooking, all of the rooms include a gourmet kitchen, local coffee and an espresso machine. The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect. Just off the main Mountain Village square, it's quiet and peaceful. It's only a short walk (3-5 minutes depending on your pace) from the gondola and ski-in-ski-out during the winter. If you're going to head to paradise, why stay at an ordinary hotel? The Lumiere isn't just our favorite hotel in Telluride; it's our favorite hotel in the world.
