I regularly travel between the UK and Barbados. I overnighted here in December en route to the UK. I have stayed at a number of South Coast hotels and thought I would try this place just to see what it was like, since its web...More
If you're looking for a remote quiet sun and sand vacation this is the place for you. The staff were not friendly and the service was slow. Poolside and the deck overlooking the ocean was gorgeous. There is little to do here but soak up...More
Stayed at the Silver Point after hearing good reviews from someone who stayed there a few years ago. Sounds like the place has gone a bit downhill while the prices have gone up.

There is public transportation on the island, the fare is $2USD if I am not mistaken, however the nearest bus stop is 0.5 miles from the hotel. They may not allow you to get on the bus with bulky luggage. You may check out the Barbados airport website(ground transportation) to see if there is a bus route to the hotel area or email the hotel directly. Normally all guests arrive by taxi or rental cars. Taking a bus may be inconvenient and the savings minimal.
