Its a great location with an extraordinary design! Some details should be adjusted if you make a new design. It might be useful at the villas if you have a second toilet at the top floor. In addition, because of the long sunshine, it might be a good idea if you have a Markise over the pool.
Probably the best hotel in nature in Spain. Incredible facilities where you can feel relaxed surrounded by nature and away from all noise. Pools are incredible, the room is beautiful with amazing views, the staff well training and willing to do their best to make your stay unforgettable. Food is great, using local fresh products and the restaurant service also keeps high standards. Worth every euro you pay.
We could not fault the Vivood. It’s set in some of the most spectacular scenery possible, and the food and service were first class. We loved the infinity pools, and the dinner on the terrace as the sunset behind the mountains.
We had a wonderful time at this truly unique and memorable hotel. We loved the landscaping and setting. Every room is a separate cube on stilts built into the side of the steep hill, really making the most of the landscape and the view. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the fragrance of the pines as you walked up/down to the pool was magical. The infinity pool was perfect, both in design and function. Water temperature was perfect for exceptionally hot days, you could stay in for 5 minutes or an hour and be comfortable admiring the view or having a swim. The loungers round the pool are the most comfortable I've ever experienced, even from 5* hotels, that was a big plus! (But honestly, there were so many, you have to go there yourself to discover them all.). One of the most unique and loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in, would return in a heartbeat.…
The setting was absolutely amazing. The rooms were fantastically designed, well situated and spotlessly clean. The pool area was also well appointed and clean. Slight areas for improvement - I booked two separate treatments in the spa but was automatically put into the same room as my friend rather than asked if we wanted separate spaces. My friend was also appointed a male masseur - usual practice is to ask if a female is comfortable with that. Secondly the evening meal food was a little hit and miss. However, I would return and I would recommend to a friend.
Great place for a romantic trip. My wife and I went for two nights staying in a Villa with pool. Great view from everywhere overlooking the mountains. The experience is really good. Warm welcome in reception. We went straight to the SPA for a treatment and from there on to the room. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was also very nice. The winelist was a bit to binary to me. They could do with a few more wines in the EUR 50-150 range. It was mostly to cheap wines. Also wine temperature was to warm. That should be worked on. Some areas of the room was a little worn out, but nothing to complain about. In the bedroom you have a projector and Netflix with a big screen. Also good fun. Bathrooms with panoramic view from the shower - good thinking. We have the floating breakfast. That is breakfast in the pool. Try it. Also we have lunch in the room. An area to improve on would be to remove the food tray again same day. For some reason that did not happen, but awaited next day cleaning. All in all we will come back for sure!…
We absolutely enjoyed our stay, location is sublime, food delish, staff incredibly nice (especially Pilar) but there was a lot of miscommunication between kitchen and Recep which led to some frustration.
We had the most amazing stay at Vivood and would highly recommend. The food was amazing, the views were breathtaking and don’t even get me started on the spa experience we had! I had everyone asking me where I was on holiday and would highly recommend.
Gorgeous hotel, no photos do it justice until you’re there seeing it with your own eyes. Great great staff. Credit to everyone we spoke to during our stay, Chema, Daniel, Damien & Iker to name just a few (I just wish I remembered everyone’s names!) …. Everyone was exceptional. The trip was for our honeymoon & we’ll hopefully be seeing you year after year for our anniversaries.
Very nice hotel. Amazing views, beautiful pools (for the once who don’t like cold water, the pools are not heated and quite chilly, even in July) and a very tasteful kitchen (by the way, Pilar as a waitress is a joy!). The half board option in the evening is definitely value for money! I would recommend going spending some days in this relaxing hotel. One comment to the hotel: please have a better communication to the kitchen. Every day we had to explain again and again what it means to not have “red meat” at breakfast. It also appears difficult to understand “lactose intolerance” (no, a glass of coconut cream isn’t a good alternative to yoghurt) so we decided to take the lactose medication and changed back to a lactose rich breakfast. Like I said, the kitchen is wonderful but the communication created quite some frustration (5 days in a row is too much!).…
