Love this place and will be back. Great food though would be great if restsusrant menu was also in the room for room service. A gym is a must and really missing here. Also do r see why it’s necessary to book an extra room if we r ok with 3 ppl sharing a Villa. Other than that though, it was great. Massage with Moises continues to be the best we’ve ever had. Stunning hotel in a beautiful location. All staff members went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed four nights and tried two different room types. The pool villas were very spacious with stunning views. We later had a smaller pool suite which was cosy. Only set back was that the view from the hot tub / pool was blocked by the trees but only a minor detail. Restaurant food quality was excellent both for breakfast and evening dinner. We would very likely return for a short break.

We spent 5 nights there. A real retreat: secluded in the mountains outside Alicante, you get phenomenal food with fantastic views of a beautiful turquoise reservoir. The entire service staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Perfection...private circuit of the spa and then to watch the sunset in the pool with a glass of cava. The restaurant for dinner with violionist 💖 1st class service from absolutely all staff members, really could not ask for more.

Clara Gonzalbez is phenomenal! She is the best Guest Experience Manager we have encountered across many worldwide hotels we have stayed at over the years. Clara went above and beyond to plan the perfect surprise holiday for my wife and me, to celebrate our 11th anniversary. She organised a romantic sunset picnic, hand-wrote a sweet message to us, and gave us one of the best rooms. Clara proactively made recommendations for activities and found solutions to make our trip seamless and hassle-free. She was very warm, kind and generous throughout our stay, taking care of us like family. Clara genuinely puts guests first. She will be our first port of call when we return to Vivood. This Quit hotel has a fabulous view and excellent food! Also the Spa is very relaxing. The rooms / suites are well designed. We liked it very much. Nice hotel for away from the tourists at the beach. Congrats to the owners!

The scenery is what makes this the most magical place , I don't think I could ever tire of waking up to the view each morning! The staff are warm, very helpful & nothing too much of an ask. Special thanks to Clara, Adrien & Mathilde who really helped me before and during my stay! The 5 elements spa experience was incredible, although I would say there are some repair jobs that need doing e.g. cracked mirrors, lose fitings ect - could do with some love and money put into it. The indoor pool was quite chilly too but otherwise a stunning experience. Would recommend! I want to go back. I stayed in a double suite which was very comfortable, private and very clean. We didn't have breakfast as we fast until lunch time but we did eat in the restaurant, food was delicious, and the local wine was VERY nice! I had the rose. Overall, I didn't want to leave! Be sure to explore the stunning surroundings and visit the reservoir of course. Thank you Vivood.....a very special stay for my husbands surprise trip! We will be back. …

This hotel is in a stunning setting, but I probably wouldn't return. I should've read the small print but I wasn't aware that you have zero access to the spa unless you pay for a treatment – and the treatments are on the pricey side. We were able to use the small pool in the spa for a one hour time slot and it was a little bit dilapidated. This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel where the sauna etc. is completely off-limits to hotel guests unless they pay for a full spa treatment. I found this disappointing – especially as we visited in the chilly winter months and there are few other activities/lounge areas available if you want to get out of your room. Otherwise, the room was simple with decent but basic amenities (incredible view, though) and the service was mostly very good. We did half board and the food was good but not incredible. Beautiful location, immaculate with the most friendly and helpful staff. Treatment in the spa was exceptional as was massage. Food was good although probably not the best reason to visit. Villas beautiful with stunning views. Jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer and no. 39 furthest away from spa and restaurant with view partially obscured by a tree. Would prefer 31-34 next time.

WARNING: If you stay here, you won't want to leave! 😁 Heaven on earth. Everything perfect. An incredible place to disconnect and decompress. The views are breathtaking. The heated pool in the villa is amazing. The bed is enormous and floor-to-ceiling windows provide a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. The food is exquisite; the breakfast! Wow, what a way to start the day. Absolutely essential to walk down to the reservoir (or run around it if you're up to it. 10km according to my watch). Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to visit the spa but maybe next time. Finally, thank you to the staff for personalizing my stay. I checked out 3 hours ago and I already miss it. I will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing stay!
