Nestled in a scenic location, VIVOOD Landscape Hotel garners praise for its exceptional architecture and picturesque setting, providing guests with stunning views and a romantic, classy atmosphere. While the rooms are celebrated for their beauty and vistas, some guests have noted a lack of attention to detail and unexpected costs for upgrades. The hotel's service is generally regarded as friendly and professional; however, reports of occasional disorganization have surfaced. Cleanliness is a strong suit, with travelers enjoying the calm and pristine environment. Despite some dissatisfaction with the value and limited amenities like the absence of a gym, the tranquil environment and relaxing spa are often lauded.

Where to start....the location of the hotel is in itself something of a work of art. Winding up a hillside between olive trees and green.

Our reception was warm and kind. Starting even before our arrival by the hotel contacting us to ask if anything could be arranged at our request. At check-in itself we were given all the information we needed.

A short trip by golf cart to our villa later and after the explanations by Carlos we were left in a beautiful, spacious modern accomodation with everything we could als for.
The scenery alone is relaxing enough but the space and comfort you get is just ridiculous...

The staff made sure everything was as we wished, food and drink deserve a review of their own to be honest. Nothing here is left to chance, and so everything was provided, verging on excess even.

So, we had nothing left to desire, except to plan our next stay.

The view and the hotel was exactly like the pictures. Before arriving I did not understand why it was only a three stars hotel because of the rooms, the restaurant and the landscapes I thought it deserved a 4 or even 5 stars but once there I understood it is a recent hotel, there is no gym and the standing is not there yet. the service is not premium, it takes quite a long time to get something (for example every morning I had to repeat several times that I didn't want meat and it was brought to me anyway, at breakfast we got of the requested water or juice three times). Also the complexity of having information for a room change and communication with Maria which was not ideal upon our arrival she was not happy that we change our mind about the room. Nevertheless, some people made our stay a real pleasure and a haven of peace, I am thinking in particular of Clara she was very professional, kind and sincerely amiable, and unfortunately they didn't have all their names on the badge so sorry to do not have the name but the two waiters a redhead and another that starts with a D if memory serves.
also this weekend there was a group of several people who were very noisy, I had come on a spiritual retreat but it is true that in this kind of context it is difficult to rest, we could not take advantage of the swimming pool when the whole group was there because it was very noisy, the restaurant also. Regarding the restaurant (who often made us take our desserts to take away to avoid the noise) the quality of the meal was here, everything was so delicious we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner! it was varied, there is a vegetarian choice, delicious bravo.
maybe it would be better to warn customers in advance when there are events that bring together many groups in the hotel to adapt and change dates according to our desires. However, I will be back in a few years, that's for sure!!

Absolutely stunning experience. Not even sure where to start but given the amount of luxury hotels we've stayed at around the world, its such a treat to know that this kind of quality exists in Spain. The rooms themselves (we stayed in a villa) are absolutely gorgeous. The views on the mountains are undescribable and the minimal design, plunge pool, outdoor space, bed, bathroom, etc do everything to make the most of it. The food is absolutely delicious and most importantly we appreciated the flexibility offered by the kitchen to adapt to special requests and variations. There were a couple of blunders that could have been improved (when I asked for a salmon burger instead of meat, what I was then served was a smoked salmon sandwich....clearly not the same. And the bourbon whiskey that I ordered was completely out of balance and way too sour to drink) but overall it was absolutely delicious and easy to stay at the hotel for 5 days and still want to stay longer. The best (and of course most important) is always the service. The smiles, the friendliness, the responsiveness, the attentiveness....all while still giving us the privacy and autonomy of really feeling like we are in our own little undisturbed world, was masterful. And then the spa, in particular the massage from Moises. One of the best if not the best ive ever received. What can be improved are only the smallest things: we asked for yoga mats to be left in the room, which they were but the quality of these pieces of foam left much to be desired. Investing in better yoga mats would be a must for a place so focused on relaxation and wellness. A big improvement would be for this hotel to build a proper gym, as that is usually a must for us when we travel and would be a reason to not chose a hotel over another one that has a gym. The upstairs kitchen in the villa should also have its own soap as well as dishtowel so we dont have to use the one from the bathroom to dry our hands. And ideally these types of villas should have a second smaller guest bathroom upstairs so that we dont have to run downstairs every time. The food menu could also have more variety and more items, including more dessert, especially for those staying for a longer time. But these are all minor points, and only being mentioned since we are so sure we will be coming back that we would love to see any of these improvements made. Thank you for creating such a special place and we can't wait to return!

The idea of the place is nice. The rooms are very minimalistic giving the main role to the nature. However, with the price of almost 200 € / night I would not expect Ikea products and feeling in the room. The rooms can also be noisy if the weather is windy, as the plants outside are scratcing the walls.

The service was most of the time friendly, but not in a very smooth way. Couple of days before our booking I received a phone call demanding whether I want to book a table for dinner or not. When I asked for menu, I didn't get it and I had to ask it twice and wait more than 12 hours before finally getting it. They send you messages before arrvial asking if there's something you want, but reply very slowly if at all. When arriving, the guy giving us a ride to our room was really nice and friendly. When leaving, the driver (not the same person) just left with our luggage without saying a word and was actually a bit rude.

The restaurant is ok, but same lack of finalised experience and service appears as elsewhere. If you agree to add the bill to the room bill, you don't get to check and sign it. Would have been nice to check it in the end of the dinner - that's the usual habit.

To sum it up: place is beautiful and idea is great, but considering the price, I expected more value for the money. Through some clarification of the processes and training of the staff, the place could reach a level of exquisite experience. However, it is not quite there yet.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay.
Every element from start to finish gave us a feeling of peace and harmony.
My husband is an architect and he loved the minimalist design of the rooms, pool area and restaurant. Very fresh, clean and modern.

The rooms with their open windows to the valley are something special. Waking up in the morning, and pushing the button to raise the blinds, slowly revealing the morning landscape was something I’ll remember.

The views from every part of the hotel are spectacular and it was just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the friendly and high quality service.

We ate in the restaurant one evening and found it of high quality and excellent value. Similarly breakfasts were plentiful and originally and beautifully cooked and presented.

You can walk down the hill to the reservoir which is a beautiful spot. It’s a very rough path and a steep climb back up, something I think it would be worth warning guests about in advance.

We plan to return one day, superb.

Superb location and views
The standard of the premium Villa was exceptional, it was expensive but worth it.
However the best aspect of this Hotel is the staff, everyone of whom made a fantastic effort to make the stay as perfect as possible
It is truly an exceptional place to stay.
Just a point to be aware of regarding the premium villas , the bedroom and bathroom are down a flight of 21 steps below the living area and terrace, so if you need to use the bathroom in a wet bathing costume care is needed on the stairs

This place remains top of my list when it comes to the wow factor. We stayed for the second time in one of the pool premium villas, which are so well laid out & provide everything you need, but if there’s anything missing a call to reception and it will be sorted out promptly.
My ‘best bit’ is the large window, which at night in bed gives you an amazing view of the stars (NB: We we’re in villa 38) & with zero light pollution it’s perfect.
Due to recent bad weather the spa was out of service but I was still able to have a massage & Christina the beauty therapist who was my masseur is simply the best!
The staff are friendly, the food - breakfast & restaurant meals are very good.
Nope second time round I can’t fault it. We will be back.

Location is absolutely breathtaking, waking up every morning and looking at the mountains is simply stunning. The rooms are clean but the normal suits are starting to look a bit outdated and tired. Breakfast is served on a pre made tray witch gets a bit boring after staying there for 5 days with not much variety. I can understand due to COVID they cannot offer as much variety but the quality of food should still be better. Although it does “look” very pretty. The infinity pools looking over the landscape are open but way to cold to actually enjoy.

Great place for a romantic trip. My wife and I went for two nights staying in a Villa with pool. Great view from everywhere overlooking the mountains.
The experience is really good. Warm welcome in reception. We went straight to the SPA for a treatment and from there on to the room.
Had dinner in the restaurant, which was also very nice. The winelist was a bit to binary to me. They could do with a few more wines in the EUR 50-150 range. It was mostly to cheap wines. Also wine temperature was to warm. That should be worked on. Some areas of the room was a little worn out, but nothing to complain about. In the bedroom you have a projector and Netflix with a big screen. Also good fun. Bathrooms with panoramic view from the shower - good thinking.

We have the floating breakfast. That is breakfast in the pool. Try it.
Also we have lunch in the room.
An area to improve on would be to remove the food tray again same day. For some reason that did not happen, but awaited next day cleaning.

All in all we will come back for sure!

Hello Stephen. The average temperature in October is 15.5ºC according to what we have consulted. The maximum can be 20.7ºC and the minimum 12.8ºC. We have villages like Castell de Guadalest or Benimantell at 5 or 10 minutes walking distance, but I must warn you that the access is quite steep. As for the buggies, they are for exclusive use at the hotel, and are driven by our staff. Whenever you need to move around the resort, you can call reception to request it. Thank you very much,

It's an easy enough walk down wearing trainers/shoes suitable for a route with small rocks. Lovely walk around the reservoir. However, the walk back up, if you take it slowly and stop a couple of times its ok
