Three nights at Leopard Hill were wonderful. Beautiful luxury tents are so comfortable. Staff were excellent and better than most 5 star hotels. They really wanted to make sure our stay and safari were exceptional. Enjoyed our driver Manone who took use through the conservancy and Maasai Mara. Fantastic wildlife sightings. Meals were excellent and served around our schedule. There was a constant parade of wildlife past the camp day and night. At night the animals are noisy! I look forward to returning to Leopard Hill but will spend more time in this peaceful oasis.

We got back from Leopard Hill a few weeks ago + our time was completely sublime. We miss it so much and we have to pinch ourselves and look at pictures to remember that it actually happened. “Glamping” doesn’t even begin to cover the luxury of the tents, amenities, meals, and the team’s hospitality. We’d fall asleep to the quiet of a bonfire only to be woken up in the middle of the night to elephants trumpeting. Magic. Every night we looked forward to the hot water bottle in bed + the crystal clear sky made visible by the tent’s skylight. Big shoutout to our safari guide & driver Mayone who was probably sick of us after spending time with us hours on end, twice a day – even on his birthday!! We’re super humbled by his graciousness, knowledge & patience as every day on safari was filled with once in a lifetime moments. Also need to callout Timothy for keeping us safe, Mohammed & the entire chef team for making every meal so special, Milton for being so energetic even at 5 AM, William for treating us like family, Maureen for being a hostess goddess, Peter for his bonfire skills, and my girl Fiona for the best/funniest massage. We will remember this trip forever and we are so grateful.

Dear Sam, We thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay at our new camp Leopard Hill and for sharing your experience with other travelers. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Indeed Leopard's Hill location gets you very close to nature to an extent that you become lost in the moment, forgetting the surrounding comforts of the modern world and becoming one with the wild of Mara Naboisho Conservancy. Our aim is to provide a truly unique experience, and we are thrilled that we were able to exceed your expectations. We will certainly recognize all our staff for their great effort to making your safari more memorable. We hope that your future stay will be as satisfying as this one. Thank you and we hope to host you again. Basecamp Team.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the team at Leopard Hill! We were here this past February weekend and felt so welcomed. We stayed in Basecamp Masai Mara for one day and then spent 3 days in Leopard Hill. The Basecamp Explorer team took care of transportation between the camps - it was about a 40 minute bumpy (and fun!!) safari truck ride between the two. The Naboisho Conservancy is also where all of your game drives will take place - there were less trucks than there were on the Maasai Mara Reserve (the location of where Basecamp Masai Mara game drives occur). Our safari guide for our days in Leopard Hill was Mayone, who was extremely knowledgable about all the animals, kind + funny, and answered the many, many questions we had during the drive. He was so much fun to be around and he was an incredible guide and overall person during our stay with Basecamp! We were in awe of his ability to adeptly find animals based on subtle clues (for example, he found a napping lion next to a zebra carcass due to the presence of a neighboring hyena pack!! So freakin' cool!!) Besides the morning and evening safaris, we also tried a walking safari and a night safari (with an infrared light to help spot the animals!) which were phenomenal and a different experience as well. There is something that is so overwhelmingly beautiful to see the animals in the wild without any fences or gates. Mohammed was our main server during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, who was super accommodating to someone in our party who had dietary restrictions and was overall so lovely. Lunch + dinner included a soup, main course, and a dessert, each of which was always different and featured fresh and delicious flavors. The rooms were also super luxurious! The view was unforgettable, (there's even a sky roof you can peel back to see the beautiful night sky), beds were comfortable (and had hot water bottles inside!!!), and the water was warm (bonus: and solar powered!) We were able to hear elephants from our tents, and saw elephants, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and a slew of other animals right from outside our backyard. Additional shoutouts to Jen, Williams, Milton, Timothy, Asphis, Joseph, and Tim, who all made our stay unforgettable. I booked everything with the help of Bernice, one of the sales representatives who connected me via e-mail and made the booking process so easy. It's only been a couple of days but we miss the Mara and everyone there already! We hope to be back soon. Thank you Basecamp!!

Dear Katie, We were delighted to play a part in your ‘best trip ever’ and wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for sharing such a special review with us! We have to agree that the wildlife are certainly the star of the show here in the conservancy, and it sounds like you spotted some fantastic sights with your guide. Our Head Chef was so pleased to hear your kind comments about the dining and wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you too for your kind recommendation, it truly means a great deal and we just hope that we might have the opportunity to welcome you back to Leopard Hill and make your stay even more memorable. Basecamp Team.
