My family choose this resort based on our previous experience at Sandals Ochos Rios. It surpassed my expectations! We celebrated my daughters 10th birthday there. The concierge was nice enough to decorate our room and they brought a cake for her at one of our dinners. Dillion B and Shamarra were beyond fantastic and went out of their way to welcome us! We booked another 3 vacations while at Beaches. Truly top notch!

We had the best family vacation at Beaches Ocho Rios. We booked a beachfront walk out room. It was fantastic, everytime you walked out of the room, you walked into a postcard. The people were amazing. Paul and Andre at the main pool bar were the funest bartenders. Kimone and Courtney at the concierge desk took extra special care of us. Venica in house keeping kept the sand our kids kept tracking into the room from making its way into the bed. My favorite part of Jamaica is and always has been the people. Maybe some day I can expatriate there as I hope. The kids (6 and 8) were never bored. They only fought about whether to go to the beach, the water park, or the organized kids activities. We felt safe letting them run on their own around the resort.

We absolutely loved Beaches ocho Rios. The staff made the holiday. We actually went Aug 2018 Damion in the restaurant was a star. But all the staff in all areas were brilliant. We went scuba diving which is included! We saw octopus on the complimentary snorkelling. The man guiding the snorkelling was so kind and helped my son! The parties in the night were so fun! The food was the best, so delicious. It was basically one of our best holidays. We would love to go again. The beach was gorgeous. Just perfect!

We just got back from an 8 day trip. This was our second time to Jamaica and the first time was fantastic. This trip exceeded all expectations. We stayed in a Greek Village Beach Front concierge room. From the time that we got there to the time that we left, the entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had not only what we needed but also what we wanted. They were always quick to complete requests. The room was exactly what we thought it would be per the pictures we had seen beforehand. Housekeeping did a great job everyday that we were there. The beach was probably the best beach we have ever been to. The water was so calm we didn't have to worry about our 3 year old playing in the water since it was so calm. I'm normally not a huge fan of the beach but I was of this one. The staff took care of the beach every day and it showed! We were there for our anniversary and set up a private candle light dinner. It was worth every penny and Moyagay took fantastic care of us! The Concierge team took fantastic care of us and always checked in to make sure everything was ok and were there to answer any questions and take care of any request. Every member was fantastic! Camp Sesame (probably the most important part for us) was out of this world. My 3 year old was begging to go each day. She cried when we had to leave and is asking about when we are going back because she misses her teachers! Good thing we are going back next year. They took fantastic care of my 9 month old as well. She was teething and got her first two teeth and they went above and beyond the times we had to take her. Including walking her around the entire resort in there stroller so that she could sleep. If you're on the fence about booking, and you have smaller kids with you, this should push it over the edge. None of the restaurants were disappointing in anyway. Again, everyone went above and beyond. Our last night, we were eating at the Venetian and our little one was just fussy. Renee came over and asked if she could hold her. We said yes and she told us she wanted us to be able to eat and enjoy our dinner. She then proceeded to let our daughter to check in on the other tables with her and she had a ball. This was just one of many instances like this that helped make our trip! Shamara checked in on us all week and was part of the reason we booked a return visit. If Sandals/Beaches puts that much effort into making sure people want to come back, we're in. She had a custom cake in our room and a bottle of champagne as an anniversary surprise when we got back one night! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention a few names as a thank you! Sameka, Jhavon, Shane, Sotanya, Michael, Kemonet, Renee, Moyagay, Shamara, and Ofelia. Literally everyone in Camp Sesame, and at the Concierge desk. You made our trip fantastic and we can't thank you enough!

This is a nice small hotel that is fun for the whole family. It had an incredible Easter brunch on the beach. It had a fun end of the trip beach party with flame throwers. It had good entertainment all week, an amazing chocolate party with a DJ and dancing, a Jamaican dancers show, a great Sesame street party for the kids, a great art room (disappointed they charged extra though), wonderful snorkling right off the beach with a short 5 min boat ride to get to. We enjoyed the free glass bottom boat cruise. Drinks were good, scenery was beautiful. Enjoyed taking kids to golf course to hit balls and husbands enjoyed the course and also seeing the Jamaican locals on way to the course. The waterfall excursion was a must, we took the cruise from Sandals to the waterfall. So fun. The resort's waterpark was a blast for all ages. The staff was fantastic. A few cons: the food was just okay, not as good as other Caribbean resorts. The beach is very small, pretty, but small so it was great for our 6 & 8 year olds but wish it was bigger for the teens to enjoy. Not a good resort for long strolls on the beach. With it being a small resort, there wasn't an opportunity to really go on walks to get exercise other than going up and down the resorts many levels so that was my exercise for the week. The room we had in the Greek village had an amazing view with a nice balcony area that you share with all the rooms but it was fine, but the rooms could be nicer but were totally fine, just not luxury. Ours had an odor in the bathroom, so did our friend's, and it could have been a bit bigger. But a nice stocked fridge. Def get concierge level, they treated you great and set up all kinds of things for you.
