Myself and a few of my friends stayed here last weekend and I cannot rate it highly enough. The staff were amazing and facilities were just as good. To top it off you're only a stones throw away from the town. I need to highlight how amazing the staff were. From the minute we walked in to the place until...

I took my son to a sports event in Carlow and booked a family room as it was all that was available, but I thought it was expensive at €120 for a night for myself and my 11 year old. On seeing that there was only two of us rather than 4 as would normally be the case for a...

We overnighted at The Courthouse Hotel on our way down to the Glen of Aherlow and were pleasantly surprised. Carlow is a town I visited quite a bit about 15 years ago and loooks much the same today. Parking for the hotel is a sharp right parallel to the hotel through a narrow passage so snug it almost felt like...

We booked this hotel via booking.com and selected a twin room. Mins after we booked it the hotel phoned us and advised that there were no twin rooms left when we booked and for the inconvenience they offered us 2 separate double rooms. We would of settled for 1 double room but the hotel insisted, which was great service. When...

Opened in March 2000, The Courthouse Hotel, with its town centre location and close to the River Barrow walkways, town park, shopping areas, George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Visual Art Centre, and other bars, restaurants and nightclubs, it makes for an ideal place to explore the sights of Carlow. The Hotel is located on Dublin Street in Carlow's town centre. It is approx. 1 hour from Dublin and just over an hour from Rosslare. The Hotel is also less than 10 minutes walk from local train and bus station – a great base to plan your weekend or holiday break from. With a total of fifteen bedrooms all en-suite with bath, each room has complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with multi channel television and direct dial telephone. There is also a small meeting room available for business meetings or for that presentation evening. Secure car parking is also provided directly opposite the hotel in our lock-up car-park. With newly refurbished bedrooms in May of 2013 and our friendly team, the Courthouse Hotel makes for a very memorable experience. “Our room 103 was roomy, very recently decorated with lovely fuschia feature wall, quaint walk in wardrobe which looked like a door to connecting room, lovely big bathroom with great shower and lovely morroccan style shimmering floor tiles, beautiful cornices and all you could want. All looked just so fresh and clean and newly finished.”
