Just stayed here with my wife and daughter, thankfully only for 1 night. We have stayed in lots of other premier inn's all over the country and I can honestly say this is by far the worst. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and was very dark and depressing and really didn't smell the best. It seemed... More

Stayed for one night before travelling to airport at 3am ! Reception lady lovely and helpful, room clean, bed really comfy ! (Not rock hard like so many hotel beds now ! ). Hotel set in an old building which is unusual but well kept. Ate at Brewers fare next door - not amazing, staff (except for manager) rather surly... More

The building is old and it could do with an overhaul but the rooms were fine for a short stay. We stayed for one night on return from our holiday. Beautiful views from the front of the building and the staff were very friendly and helpful – even at 3am when we arrived! Usual Premier Inn high standard of comfy... More

Have just returned from a 3 night stay which was excellent staying midweek. Plenty of car parking and set in beautiful surroundings in the countryside and very quiet at night so as to get a good nights sleep. Our room was spotless, comfortable bed, new bathroom, air/con and also tea and coffee making facilities. Hotel is ideally situated to visit... More

We've stayed in numerous premier inn hotels over the years and most have been good but this one is definitely the worst one. Although the restaurant and service was good, the room looked tired and smelled of old feet. When I complained we were moved next door which was less smelly but still lacked the premier inn freshness. Both rooms... More

More like a private hotel than part of a chain . A friendly relaxed hotel.Highly recommended. Very well situated off main road and motorway with nice grounds and terrace and a good base for holiday location.

premier inn staff as you would expect helpful and polite. restaurant staff have a very hostile and cold approach to customers. definately would not advise a meal there. quality of food very poor too. don't waste your money.

My wife and I stayed one night at the premier inn, we found the whole place a bit tired. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room was very badly lit, the bedside lamps were totally inadequate , very low watt bulbs. We made the mistake of having dinner in the restaurant , from placing our order... More

I've slept in a lot of Premier Inns but none of them has ever offered such poor rooms. The smell of moisture and mold is very strong in there. The gaps in the bathroom are black of mold. The staff is very nice and helpful but this can't compensate the smell and bad feeling of the rooms. The TVs are... More
