We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights to discover the priorat and montsant region nearby, but also for the coast (although apart from cambrills that's nothing exciting unless you go for sunbathing on the beach) it is very well situated. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, (if you don't want a wake up call from the church clocks at...

A really nice place for a stop-over on our long drive south. Not too far from the autopista. Quiet and comfortable. Superb breakfast. Free wi-fi. Only downside was the on-street parking a couple of hundred metres up the hill. Not so good if you arrive in heavy rain. Evening meal offered in a nearby restaurant which appears to be linked...

I found this lovely little Hotel on the Internet and we couldn't have been happier with it.Everything was perfect, from the very helpful, friendly receptionist when we arrived to the gorgeous breakfast which included freshly squeezed orange juice and good quality charcuterie. The Spa is the most relaxing space I have ever been in with a bottle of Cava included.We...

Small gem in the middle of El Priorat, a wine area south from Barcelona. The rooms where big and decorated taking care of the buildings age, merging old stone with the newest materials. The service is extremely friendly to the point they ask the time you'll have breakfast to have it ready exclusively for you at the dinning room (also...

I just spent a night at this lovely place as a very special birthday present. It is very small but our room was very big, beautifully decorated and with a huge state of the art bathroom which included two beautiful orange bathrobes! The present included a visit to the spa on the top floor (1 hour and a half): a...

How lucky we were to find Cal Barber, I could not argue with anyone who says that it does not have the best views in Spain, but a charming hotel with lovely rooms and staff, and right in the centre of Botarell. We had a drink in the square outside, when I went to pay for them I was told...

The hotel Cal Barber consists of 11 rooms only. It is located in the centre of historical village Botarell / not Montbrio del Camp/ , opposite the old church. The typical village house has been tastefully restored, with very attractive interiors. The room, we had, was rather small, with some non-functional elements, like lighting, difficult access to the bathtub. lack...

we enjoyed 2 separate nights at cal barber at the beginning and end of our tour of northern spain. We had the best and freshest breakfasts and ate 2 superbly cooked dinners in the nearby family restaurants. SOme of the best food of our tour which took in 3 of spain's paragores.
