In a Nutshell : We stayed only one-night as a couple getaway and we were quite disapointed from the start ; staff is not effective and lack professionalism, we called the day before to make sure everything was prepared - well the room wasn't prepared and we asked for the romantic package which also wasn't ready. The ratio price for value is very bad, I do not recommend this place for a romantic escape. "Positive" side - beautiful place - good food at the restaurant (expensive, and the lunch was cold but diner was good) - nice spa (quite small so best to avoid the weekend crowd) (Very) Negative side - service is way below average, and certainly for a 4-stars hotel - acces not that easy to the location - very expessive for quite average prestations

I really enjoyed my trip to Château d'Urspelt. The restaurant was excellent, the spa also. I just found that massage was a little too expensive. But I recommend it, that is a great place to stay. The personnel is so kind and the place is amazing.

Amazing place for a relaxing and pampering getaway. We went to celebrate a gal's birthday and it was a real treat! The whole place smells amazing and the food was delicious! Staff was a dream and we can't wait to be back!!!

Stayed for two nights at the Chateau d'Urspelt. Staff amazing - beautiful building - rooms large and comfortable beds. Excellent spa. Gastronomic dinner both evenings and the bar was also very unique as it is in the cave. Overall a very memorable experience and would highly recommend it.

We were expecting much more for our experience. We were disappointed by the soundproofing of the room, the slowness of the restaurant service and the exiguous spa. However the location is nice and quiet, the massages are awesome.

very nice place to have a quiet and relaxing stay. The wellness space is very nice. Prices at the bar or at the restaurant are a bit expansive. But all in all it was a nice experience for a romantic stay.

Very happy with our visit (except for one small detail: the lady at the reception desk had a bad day). Urspelt is a nice quiet place; ideal for such a great hotel and spa. Breakfast and restaurant more than ok.

you have to try it to know , the rooms are perfect , the bar in the cellar is romantic , diner and breakfast were just fine , friendly people and a very nice Spa , but everything stands or falls by what you and your partner makes off it.
