This place is paradise. Pretty simple. We had the most wonderful stay from afternoon till noon the day after. From wine in the courtyard, hanging by the pool, dinner at the restaurant and breakfast in the sun the next morning. There is a friendly and familiar atmosphere. The staff is nice, warm, welcoming and they definitely make the stay comfortable and uncomplicated. I love when the philosophy is that things are possible to please the guest (within reason of course) and it doesn't always sounds like the guests are just too much work. This place is the first. We had the best waiter the whole afternoon/evening and he just made sure we had a great feeling of feeling taken care of and pampered. To be honest, it made us not caring at all about the money we spent. Good service makes us relax and just enjoy. It was the same the next morning. We ended up staying more hours than planned, because we were just so much at peace that we wanted to relax and take it all in.

Food and wine was incredible and the hotel room was beautiful! It was a great staycation during Covid times. I would recommend even one night to get away from the city, but make sure to book the terrace not inside the restaurant as it was a bit too crowded. The hotel was very clean and everyone wore masks and were very polite and friendly and I cannot wait to go back!

This hotel felt and looked special. The Superior room (looking onto the courtyard) was spacious and well appointed, however it got very warm and, as far as we could see, we were unable to regulate the temperature. Although the bed was comfortable, I would subtract a point because it was twin beds pushed together. From the website I had the impression that the free-standing bath was standard for all Superior rooms, so I was disappointed to find this was not the case. The bathroom was large and well lit, but the shower installation impractical – the floor got very wet when the shower was in use. Two or three extra pegs would have been useful in the bathroom, to hang the luxuriously soft peignoirs that were provided. Speaking of hanging space, there was insufficient height in the wardrobe to accommodate a dress. Breakfast was excellent – there was something for every taste and a plentiful supply. We ate in the restaurant one evening (unfortunately the weather was not good enough to eat on the lovely terrace). I was unimpressed by my choice of main meal but my partner was very happy with his dish. We enjoyed our digestif in the basement bar; it had a pleasant, intimate atmosphere. We did not use the Wellness facility (I understood it was undergoing renovation) or the pool. However, considering the size of the hotel I found the pool rather small. Throughout our stay we found the staff helpful and friendly. I would return and I would recommend this hotel for a romantic break.

The staff is rude. There are flies everywhere. They reconfigured our bill six times, each time incorrectly. We spent half our time at the hotel trying to correct our bill since the front desk kept screwing it up. While the building looks pretty, the stau was miserable.

Château d'Urspelt is a superb place to stay with the up to stadnards service you can expect from a high-class hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great for business or a long weekend or short trip exploring the beautiful nature and towns with medieval castles that Luxembourg has to offer.
