Really nice clean motel to stay at, such a comfortable bed and spacious room. Manageress was super helpful and made some quality suggestions about local attractions. Can only Highly reccomend the whole experience. Thanks
Throwback 80/90s Motel . Stayed one night in middle of winter, the heating was amazing and kept us warm. Very tidy and clean. We had a small kitchen, separate bathroom and toilet and bedroom. Had dinner at the Antler pub down the road and had the best whitebait fritters ever,. Great service
We have stayed at this motel several times in the past and have not been disappointed. Our unit on this trip had been refurbished a year ago and a first class job made of it. The appliances and fittings were modern as was the decor. The insect screens on the windows were really appreciated, keeping out those pesky little sandflies. The beds were extremely comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. The only downside to this unit was that the twin bedroom had no opening window and was an interior room. With the main bed in the living area, sleepers in the twin room would want the door closed over night. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Plenty of parking space and eateries close by.
Lovely well appointed room with everything you needed after a long day traveling Easy friendly check in. Nice clean room and great shower facilities Lovely outlook from the room out to park like setting and lots of bird life near by Nice and quiet Great stay
After a tortuous drive from Queenstown on a miserable, rainy day, it was a welcome sight to see a nicely laid-out motel complex. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the unit was clean and very well-equipped. Good to be tucked up in a warm cosy haven in horrible weather. If you are travelling in this area, this is a great place to stay.
We enjoyed a great comfortable night at Aspiring Court Motel. Very clean and owner was very nice and advised us of the local sights and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The only surprise was an extra charge for using our credit card.
We were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The motel unit was great - Clean, Fresh, Tidy and with everything you would need. Quiet and peaceful place to relax. Great bar serving hot food just a couple of minutes walk away and the sun shone for us ... in the middle of July.
We paid a fair price for good accommodation and got just that. Full kitchen with insect screens in all areas. Good sized rooms. Owners were very helpful. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Advice on activities and driving conditions welcomed.
This is a well-fun, good value motel in a very remote location. The rooms contain everything you need and are clean and serviceable. The only downside is the lack of dining facilities in the town but you can use the kitchen to cook your own if prepared.
We stayed several nights here as a base to do day hikes around the area. The girl we encountered at reception, who also cleaned our room was really lovely and friendly and offered us some great ideas for walks which we did and really enjoyed. The rooms were very modern, comfortable, clean and had a great kitchen area with a full oven and stove. I guess, reading other reviews it could be a little noisy with vehicles or if you had noisy neighbors but we never had any problems with this. Haast is a stunning area with a great selection of hikes short and long and a day trip to Jacksons Bay for lunch at The Craypot is highly recommended. Great coffee just down the road at the Spiker cafe too! :) We didn't eat out preferring to cook our own food in our room. I would recommend getting groceries for your main stock in Wanaka (we came from that way) if you want to do the same. There is a supermarket in Haast but stock is limited.…
