We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stop at the beautifully restored 18th century Château Latour. Therese and Evert Jan, the owners, made us feel very welcome and were good company during the evening. The dinner and breakfast meals, including many items which were homemade, were really enjoyable, as was sitting around their large dining table together. We would highly recommend a... More

We stayed for one night on our journey home through France. The hotel is set in lovely countryside although it was quite a way from the main through routes. We felt it was worth the detour. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We booked in for dinner when we arrived and were not disappointed. The meal was fantastic and... More

Jan-Evert and Terese made us very welcome at their magnificent old house at the edge of a village in the the heart of Burgundy. Lovely bedroom and fantastic continental breakfast with wonderful home cooking for dinner our first night. We rashly ventured out the second night and got lost: big mistake! Bed was very comfortable but suggest the beautiful bathroom... More

We spend a lovely time here with four people (two bedrooms) in this very well renovated manor, our stay was perfect. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated. The pool is very clean. The place is excellent to discover the region or spend the day at the pool and enjoy a winetasting or massage. The owners are very friendly. We would... More

We stayed for five days in Fours after travelling from the south of France over the previous week, we were shattered and in much need of a good rest And well, after five days at Chateau Latour, we didn't want to leave! It is run by a nice and genuine Dutch couple (with a sweet Jack Russell, Jackie) who were... More

All I can say is don't stay here!!! If you arrive at the hotel before 5:30pm they charge you 10 euros per person for 'early check in'!!! We arrived at 4pm and the owners were out so we sat round the pool and waited for them to return! When they came back we said we would have a look round... More

Thank you family Clucas for your feedback. We appreciate this very much. It was however a shock for us to read your rather negative comments as during your stay and upon departure you seemed very happy with your stay at Château Latour. Yet we have taken your comments seriously and have made some changes to accommodate our guests even better.... More

We had two fantastic days Chateau Latour, a beautiful B&B in the quiet village of Fours. It is run by a very nice Dutch couple, who do everything they can to make you feel at home. The villa has a pool, a little spa and a newly finished wine cellar where you can have a private wine or beer tasting.... More
