Like the last time we always very happy to be here again in first day of 2021. The restaurant is still a good place to have a perfect dinner. We start with a Chef Table menu... perfect Foie Gras Creme Brulee, chicken Roulade with Indian spices and we finish with a gorgeous Beef Tenderloin flavored with herbs... The Porcini sauce with truffle was absolutely delicious. Definitely the bad reviews about food is a scam from the competitors or people's who like to have "this fun". The room was very nice, clean with all you need in the minibar or rest. The spa was great and the pool was the same very clean with warm water. See you next time Post Hotel we definitely come back again
Very nice hotel, in a central position (right in front the boat arrivals) and great atmosphere. Staff polite and professional. Spa facilities very clean and comfy. Amazing lake view! New year’s eve dinner was amazing, with a 7 dishes gourmet menu and very professional staff. Recommended for relaxing staying and hiking to rigi kulm.
Cozy hotel in a cozy little town :) had a very good time here, staff could not be more friendly, thank you for Your smiles! Breakfast was outstanding - very interesting choice and variations. Restaurant Seerose also has left only positive emotions. Thank You once again!
Our chf400 booking in this “4 star hotel” bought us this nightmare: We could not sleep at all because there was no air conditioning in the room not even an air vent in this room so we had to sleep with the door open right next to a back alley of loud bar. Throughout the night we lay awake due to the smashing of empty bottles into the trash, loudly speaking barmaids and hospitality staff taking smoke breaks and throwing out trash. Between this noise there was also a church, 10 meters from our near ground level wall facing balcony that rung its bell every 15 minutes loudly right through the night. Yes right through the night 10 meters from our open balcony door. Oh and btw, our view: a wall. 2 meters from our balcony, this was described as the “city view” So we lay awake in a baking hot room listening to the church bells blaring and people talking and shouting down at the bar below through the night. The bath had no plug, so we couldn’t bath. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, so if you had a 5 minute shower the bathroom floor was under water. The tv had no remote so we couldn’t watch tv at all. There was no bottle opener in the room so we couldn’t drink from the mini bar. There was no tea or kettle in the room This is literally a hotel from hell. I have stayed in better hostels! I will strongly urge the star rating agency of switzerland to reduce to at maximum 3 stars! Avoid at all costs. …
Nice hotel, clean, good breakfast with decent selection. View of the lake/mountais from the balcony was great. Evening staff weren’t in a mood, didn’t even say thank you or all done once we spoke and just moved on to next customer. Morning team was much better. Parking available for 15 francs per day. Not much to do around the hotel, but passing by and spending one night was enough, as everything else involves car/bis/ferry and quite some time. Restaurants around are mostly hotel owned, so on a pricier side, but you get what you pay for! Lucerne is half hour away, so bear that in mind (looks closer on the map). Note: hotel/villa is being built next door, so works started before 7am, so if you’re thinking of longer sleep, it will be difficult until work is complete. No air con which means balcony doors are open (you can use a fan). Also, all sockets are swiss type, so no european/uk will fit (asked for adapter at reception, but one is not enough these days). Overall- good hotel, quiet area to chill and relax and do nothing.…
