This cabin is great. Facilities (showers, sinks) are convenient and clean, beds are clean as well. The lounge to eat looks a lot like an inn, very charming and cozy atmosphere. The owner is hilarious, peculiar and helpful at the same time. It's actually the best cabin we've stayed at, out of Prafleuri and Moiry.

Doesn't get much more authentic than the striped shutters and the Swiss flag flapping over the terrace perched above the slopes. The outdoor terrace serves hot drinks and crepes. Perfect place for a bit of sun and a break from the slopes. Absolutely breathtaking. Note for skiers: the venue is perched on a small hilltop above the main ski run.... More

They offer lodging in large rooms with many beds or small rooms with 2 beds. It feels more like in a youth hostel, but is fine for the price. There is not much to do in the evening so bring your books or games (there are a few and some card games at the disposition of guests). Meals are generous:... More

If you are looking for a mountain experience then this is for you. The lunch time food is just amazing. and if you stay over night its really good fun. We took the children with us, and they had the best adventure ever !

The young guy manning the place was laidback and super helpful. The food was hearty and filling -- and plenty of a la carte choices if you wanted to treat yourself. The dining room was a cozy place to spread out, talk, meet other trekkers. In the morning, we were blown away by the views all around. The room itself... More

To me this is a good example of not having competition. The Cabane is the only place to stay on this leg of the Haut Circuit, which is unfortunate because it does not bring out the best in the management. It is only a cabane, and not a hotel, but still. The breakfast served was white bread with jam along... More

Staying in a Refuge in the Alps and this place was no exception. This summer I trekked the Chamonix - Zermatt 'Haute Route' and this ' Club Alpine' Cabane is conveniently located at the end of day 4 from Chamonix. Cosy, spotlessly clean and with a fabulous terrace this place is wonderful. As with all Cabane's, the accommodation is in... More

We arrived here SHATTERED after slogging up from Champsec campsite in blistering heat. There was only one guy working and he was amazing. He dealt with new arrivals, requests for shower tokens, ice creams, local route information AND cooked dinner for about 20 people. He did me a special vegan 3 course meal that was delicious and even though he... More

We stayed her eon our Haute Route and this is the best Cabane we stayed in. You can sense the history in the building, it is beautiful inside. We were allcoated a room, which is way better than a dortoir! Shared bathroom facilities, but to be expected, male and female are seperate. Showers are on a token, i think it... More

I stopped here on the Chamonix-Zermatt Haute Route and wasn't disappointed. Like most of the Alpine Club cabanes, as opposed to the private ones, the service is great and they know how to feed a hungry trekker. The rooms were excellent, I had booked a few weeks in advance and got a small 2 bed. The food was great and... More
