What a wonderful find…The Lodge is more of a guesthouse than a hotel (in my opinion), and once you enter it is a haven of bliss and treats, all just a short stroll from the pretty village of Verbier. Check-in is a breeze, and everything is included so check out is even easier. Meals are accommodated according to your tastes, and the chefs are outstanding. We loved the idea of getting to know the other guests at dining times, and it was quite a unique concept that we’d only ever experienced at games lodges before. The jacuzzi outside and indoor pool/ jacuzzi are spotless, as is the bedroom. An effortless and completely relaxing stay, thank you to the attentive and friendly staff!
Before going back to school and after a tough year with lockdown due to Covid etc, I wanted to take my daughters somewhere special for a few days but my husband wasn’t able to travel. I wasn’t too thrilled about taking them somewhere alone but I chose the most perfect place and took a friend. It really was perfect in every sense. From making the booking to checking out, everything was really very easy. The beautiful setting, the comfort of the stylish and homey Lodge, the nice touch with regards to every detail….abundant. My friend found plenty of activities to keep busy with, hiking and attempting to swim in the lake. I found travelling with the kids extremely easy, with everything organised and a fantastic group of staff all in one place, willing to accommodate. Everyone was genuinely kind and thoughtful, making you feel so at home and welcome. A happy, clean and comfortable place where the people hosting you reflect the serenity and beauty of the place, with a naturally genuine kindness and willingness to help. My daughter went horseback riding nearby and loved it. My younger daughter just told me how much she already misses the Lodge and wants to go back to buy a souvenir dog cuddly to remember the best holiday ever (don’t forget to check out the Lodge souvenir shop if you go). A wonderful Lodge experience. The staff, food, drink, cleanliness, organisation, jacuzzi, dog, pillows, decor and so much more, make this a perfect holiday for any travellers, no matter how small or big the group. Next time I go I would stay longer and karaoke!…
It’s taken me a long while to think about how to write this review but after a few months of reminiscing over the food, laughs and chilled out afternoons - I’m finally prepared. Back in July last year, I visited the Lodge for 3 days with my boyfriend’s family (including 7 other couples). We filled the lodge out in every room and surrounded the dining table each morning and evening. We flew into Geneva and drove up easily in hire cars. Met with a glass of champagne and homemade cookies on arrival, we were given a tour around. Our room was on the second floor and had a view that I’d only ever seen in National Geographic. It still to this day is the best balcony I’ve ever had a coffee on and doubt it’ll ever be beaten. The bath in the room was huge and the luxury toiletries (and large bar of Toblerone) were a nice touch. The bed was also the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, I think it must be the closest thing to sleeping on a cloud. Throughout the stay, I never once saw anyone tidy our room but every time we went back in, it was placed back perfectly. It was like magic! The food at The Lodge was exquisite. As a slight fussy eater, everything was adaptable so everyone could enjoy each meal. Hearing from the chef about what we were eating and how the dishes were inspired and chosen was also a lovely touch. One day we went on a walk up the mountain as a group, stopping halfway for a picnic provided by the Lodge team. Once again, it was perfectly done (ask anyone, I never stop talking about the Mozzarella, Tomato and Green Pesto sandwiches). I also have never had an Aperol Spritz as nice as the one I had in the hot tub afterwards. The facilities at The Lodge are also very special. Upstairs the living and dining area is comfy enough to chill out in throughout the day and then turn into a dance party at night. The outside area also is the perfect place to sit in a hammock and read a book or sit in the hot tub and laugh your way through the afternoon. Downstairs, the team set us up a beer pong tournament one night - while others watched the cricket or bathed in the inside pool. There really is something for everyone to do, without having to leave the four walls. My recommendations for the Lodge could go on forever but I really would encourage you to try the place out for yourself - you will not be disappointed with any component. Without a doubt, The Lodge is the definition of luxury and a place that I feel incredibly lucky to have stayed. Thank you to the team there for putting so much effort and love into what they do. It shows the second you walk through the door. …
I can’t thank the Verbier touch team enough for keeping me injury free during my winters in a Verbier. The staff are highly professional and can always tell where my issues are! I would never use anyone else, thank you!
It’s taken me months to write a review, but it was such a memorable stay I can remember as if it was yesterday.. It can only really be described as heaven on earth, honestly! My father decided to take me away for a weekend as a surprise not telling me where and when we got in the hire car, drove through the mountains and eventually landed outside the building I was gobsmacked. Straight away we were greeted and given a tour with a lovely glass of champers (see vain picture). The staff are incredible, not only attentive but also respectful, polite, helpful, chatty, friendly and make the place fancy yet homely. The chefs were extremely knowledgeable about the food used and also were using natural resources as garnish but also ingredients. I’m a vegetarian and a difficult one at that but they had no problem catering to my needs. The staff, bartenders and just general staff were fabulous. They left me to my own devises but if I needed help or even a lovely dark haired lady I’m so sorry I forgot her name (I want to say Amy?) but she knows who she is, she actually stopped and helped me when I had a sad moment about my complicated love life. It seems like people will read this and think ‘so what?!’ But when you have people who make ALL aspects of the holiday good - they are worth mentioning. All staff, no matter their roles, were wonderful. They’ve done Mr Branson proud for sure. I was even fussy asking for things they didn’t have and they went to the store for me. Above and beyond is only the tip of the iceberg for these lovely people. The room we stayed in was a fantastic wonderland. The bath was great, shower was great and the view was spectacular. However I must say anywhere you are in the building you get a breathtaking view. It’s like you’re inside the clouds and I cannot express how surreal that is. I honestly cannot wait until I’ve saved up to book again, I tried to book for when I come skiing but this place books up fast and it’s not hard to see why! I would happily come back in the summer too. It’s weird being up in snowy mountains and getting a sun tan but not something I would ever pass up as an opportunity as I’ve experienced a dream holiday and I’d love to re-live it at some point if I ever get the opportunity. Thank you to everyone there who made my holiday wonderful FOH wise and behind the scenes..It’s very clear to see why my father has visited multiple times because it’s genuinely a holiday experience that will stay with you a lifetime I’m sure. Well deserved 5* rating, I wouldn’t improve anything because as far as service, food, hygiene and experience go it surpasses anything I’ve ever seen before. Best of luck to everyone there. Please send Mr Branson my regards if you see him - that would have been the only thing I’d say could have made it better. 10/10, hope to be back in the future... I’m sure my Dad will. …
...and it was even better! I’ll keep this short. There is no better place, with no better team. Ashley and guys and girls make you feel like your at home. It’s the perfect blend of luxury hospitality and chilled friendliness. Our two girls had THE best time ( they also did day camp as les elfes, which was brilliant), which meant we where able to unwind, relax and soak up the lodge vibes. Oh, and Bear Grylls came for supper, by Paraglider. Doesn’t get much better. Thanks again Ashley and all, you’re all utterly amazing.
I had some apprehension in making the booking as it did push the limits of our budget; I can happily say that the value is superb and he wouldn't hesitate in booking again. The Lodge is a beautiful 5 story chalet located a short walk away from the Gondola and centre of Verbier. Despite the short walk into the town centre, the Lodge surroundings are quiet and peaceful, surrounded by forest and breathtaking views of the valley and mountains. The communal areas are brilliantly decorated and welcoming; the facilities are spotless and plentiful. Our biggest trouble of our stay was deciding whether to get out into town, hiking and other activities Verbier has to offer, or to stay at the Lodge for the day and enjoy the amenities and luxury at hand. What separates the Lodge from any other place is the staff. The staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure that everything is taken care of. We were welcomed as if we were long lost friends, all the while being exceptionally professional. They manage to find the perfect balance of being constantly available, open for a chat and offering advice, while not being 'always there' - which gives the Lodge the impression that you are in your own (albeit incredibly luxurious) vacation home. The food was also a standout for us. Three course dinners (along with canapes), plentiful breakfasts and, if you can fit in the space, delicious picnic lunches. We have to say the cauliflower starter we had was one of the finest dishes we have tasted. Dining is communal and it is great meeting all the guests and discussing the days events. The staff also set up private dining for us on our bedroom balcony which was the perfect setting to a perfect weekend. Verbier itself is a beautiful place. We had lift passes throughout our stay and enjoyed taking in the amazing views the Swiss Alps have to offer. We took the train from Geneva to Le Chable which is also recommended. The walk behind the Lodge through the forest is a particular favourite too. I couldn't recommend the Lodge enough. The only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer. Thank you to the whole team for creating lasting memories that we will forever cherish.…
We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Lodge. Everything about it was excellent: the staff, the food, the location. The welcome was excellent and all of the staff were so friendly and keen to ensure that we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The Lodge itself is beautiful: the garden, the lounges and the rooms. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.
The concept of The Lodge is simply brilliant....fabulous food, amazing staff and brilliant local. The team simply can’t do enough to make your stay special. They are professional and friendly and seem to be able to anticipate your requirements.
Cant speak highly enough about The Lodge and the team that makes it so special. Stunning location and beautiful rooms and facilities. Absolutely outstanding food and attention to detail. An amazing place to switch off and relax or a fantastic base to recover from a day's skiing. Such a genuinely welcoming atmosphere - special team of people making all the difference. Will hopefully be back.
