Exceptional situation at 1 minute walk from the main departure of the lifts and from the center but still in a quiet area! Our hotel is cozy, welcoming, simple and confortable in a mountain chalet style. It is in the family since more then 40 years! We will do anything to make the stay of our clients as pleasant as possible and that they feel like at home! Welcome!

Detailed Reviews
My wife and 8 month old baby spent 1 week here in early December and very much enjoyed it. The location in town is good and it's a short walk to the main Gondola's.
The staff were all excellent and very welcoming. The South facing room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a decent continental spread and offered plenty of options. The lounge area is very relaxing and a lovely spot to unwind and have a drink in.
We do generally go for higher end properties but Verbier is not cheap and we didn't want to break the bank on this pre Christmas trip. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for anyone that wants a solid 3 star hotel that is clean, convenient to the ski lifts and has welcoming staff.

As a solo woman, I spent the night here when in Verbier for a conference. This is how a traditional Swiss hotle should be: well organised, comfortable, friendly, efficient and terrific value, a big plus in Verbier.
One of the owners gave me a lift to an event in her own car when I realised I had not allowed enough time to get there.
The location is ideal.
I would certainly come again, and would recommend.

Warm feeling, relaxing atmosphere! Clean and maybe the best service. Breakfast was good and fresh. Children also found their stomach full. You can walk easily to skilift.
Whole family were satified, we will be back!

We loved the location, the decor, the breakfast, the coffee and tea on tap 24 hours and the friendly staff. We were lucky to have a balcony and a great view. The room and bed were very small and the bed uncomfortable with a noisy metal bed frame. We were grateful for access to a downstairs shower before we left after skiing.
Upon setting the bill we were invited to add a tip of 5%, 10% or 15% to the credit card for the whole accommodation bill. Although it was explained that we didn't have to leave a tip if we weren't happy (we were), in that moment we were too surprised and embarrassed to refuse. Switzerland is a country famous for its non tipping or 'pour bois' culture although I am used to paying 10% to 15% for table service at a meal. But for the whole hotel accommodation bill? The result was that we left a 160chf housekeeping tip for a week's stay. At least it wasn't the suggested 465chf! I asked around. Is this normal? It turns out that it isn't, even in Verbier. We left feeling foolish.

Stayed one night at the Mirabeau in Verbier. They have off-street parking which was important for us and its location couldn't be faulted, a 2-3 minute walk to the main ski lifts in town. And just as close to a bunch of restaurants. The hotel is 3 star, a little spartan and old-fashioned but everything worked ok, modern tvs with satellite, comfortable beds, an ok breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. As with all Verbier hotels, it was not cheap - 300 chf for the night for a double and 200 for a separate single. But if you want a hotel this close to the lifts, I guess that's what it costs.

I stayed with my wife in Mirabeau hotel for 10 nights in the first half of March 2018.
The small very beautiful classic chalet-type family hotel is perfectly located just 2 minutes walking to Medran ski-lift as well as to the center of the village.
Mirabeau is very cosy, clean hotel with very friendly and sympathetic staff. Breakfast was quite sufficient to go to the slopes in fine mood. Our room was relatively small, but it had such big balcony facing South side that it fully leveled a lack of living space. In a sunny day after intense skiing it was a unique pleasure to relax at the balcony like at the beach with a glass of local wine and cheese with a fantastic 180°view of the mountains.
The attentive attitude towards each guest is advantage of family running hotel as well. For example, my wife got an orthopedic pillow for good sleeping! Also the ski-room is conveniently located and has the ski-boots heating, so you can put it on warm and dried in the morning.
As for the ski resort itself, Verbier is undoubtedly one of the best resorts in Europe if not the best one. All the slopes are well maintained, no queuing at ski-lifts, huge ski area which you can explore without removing your skis and the average level of skiers is very high.
So, once again many thanks to Sylvie, Chris and their staff for very warm welcoming, for the perfect south-facing room at the upper floor and for all their efforts to make our vacation so memorable.
Special thanks to William from “Mountain Taxi” who kindly provided our return private taxi transfer from Martigny train station.
I hope we are be back to Verbier once again and we’ll definitely stay at Mirabeau hotel.

We ended up staying here by accident as the apartment we had originally booked was so dirty we had to move out. The Mirabeau was the only hotel left in Verbier so we quickly booked.
When we arrived we knew we'd be ok now. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming and the entire hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Our room was quite small but cosy with a comfy bed, en suite and a nice view, basically everything you need. I loved the location of this hotel as you could easily walk to the main lift or ski bus stop in ski boots with skis. You can store your skis and boots in the ski room saving you having to get a locker. There are safes in the room - which I recommend you use.
The lounge is beautifully decorated in a Scandinavian style with cosy sofas and a beautiful fireplace. The breakfast was very typical European continental and absolutely delicious. There was always plenty available, croissants, toast, fruit, granola, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juices and even hot chocolates.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again should we return to Verbier. It is everything you could want from a three star ski hotel.

A 100-meter easy walk to one of the main lifts. Be prepared for long lift queues in the mornings. Family-owned hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was big (on two floors) with two bathrooms and a view to Verbier valley and village. Breakfast was basic but of good quality. Interior was scandinavian style.
Drying machine for ski boots, ski room had no locks for ski storage. The hotel itself is not an afterski venue so it's good for families. Short walk distance to restaurants but food stores were quite far. The village is built on a steep hill so nearly all restaurants and stores are located downhill.

The owner, who is likely to greet you on arrival, is wonderful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the ski lifts and even closer to the center of Verbier where restaurants, hotels, shops, cafes are located. The location could hardly be better.
Price is good relative to other hotels and the rooms, although on the smaller side, were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with great linens and comforters. Breakfast was excellent and included in room price.... you'd easily pay 25-35F for the same breakfast in a Verbier restaurant or cafe.
Great spot!

A three minutes walk from the lifts, a varied and carefully prepared breakfast. These are the atouts of the place. Our room was in the attic, looked like they sent us where they store old unmatched furniture. The carpet was very old and threadbare, dust and some hair emerging from it. The bathroom was at the floor, shared with another room.
All in all, acceptable for a two-star unexpensive resort, but this is a three-star, and they charged us more than 300 dollars for it! So, if you want a frugal accomodation and you are willing to spend for it, this is your place.
