We honestly had high hopes for the Experimental Chalet as they try to be the "cool/hip new boutique hotel" but were really not impressed. Pros: - The staff was really friendly but disorganized - Central Cons: - You could see that they re-did the chalet visually but put 0 effort into rebuilding the rest, various things in the room were either broken or not working properly (e.g. the window to the terrace would not open, the cupboards were you put your clothes were half-broken) - We only received soap and shampoo on the first day, after that there was no refill - The price vs. quality really failed to meet our expectations - CHF150 -CHF 180 per night would be a good price for this property not the CHF 250+ per night we paid. - The parking is super expensive

This is THE best hotel I have stayed in forever. Gorgeous deco, staff who know what you want and need before you do, lots of little extras like good bath robes and toiletries, oversized balconies with mountain views, a fab spa and a great breakfast. I expect I’ll be staying here again soon.

So stylish with every luxury. We loved The Experimental in the heart of Verbier. We had a lovely cool suite for two adults and two children with our own private terrace and jacuzzi. A driver was always on hand to drop us at the main lifts and pick us up and all restaurants in verbier a short walk away. Hotel has s lovely restaurant too. Great breakfast too.

I'll start by saying this is the first bad review that I have ever posted!.... From start to finish this hotel was utterly disappointing, from the service, to the overpriced food to the rooms! First night we were kept up by the club underneath until 4 am, we asked to be moved, which was done but to 2 floors above which 'apparently' would be quieter... we didn't believe this, so took a room at the back of the hotel in desperation to get a good nights sleep, this room was certainly not big enough for 2 people... but better than being kept up all night by thumping music! The hotel staff were unapologetic and quite frankly rude. Reception staff were pretty unhelpful all the way through, we had to ask for things an average of 3 times before anything was done, they were continuously unfriendly and unwelcoming. Rooms very very basic, food completely overpriced, spa needs a huge upgrade. Don't be fooled by the social media advertising, they are nothing like they market themselves. I'll finish on a positive note.... the drivers and guys that worked in the ski room were great, so helpful, really friendly and definitely a huge asset to this hotel.

We always give an online feedback when the hotel wasn’t good enough but this time I’m happy to share our experience at the Experimental Chalet. We went for 5 days in Verbier and it was an absolute pleasure to feel like home, enjoying the spa and the hotel facilities. The staff was particularly caring : Anatole at the bar create such an amazing cocktails and Josephine at the reception always helpful. You need to experiment the restaurant of the hotel! Alex, Vincent, Julia et Jeanne looked after us at the restaurant and I highly recommend the "Cote de boeuf"! The delicious breakfast is what we need before a skiing day. We are already looking forward to coming back next winter!
