What a beautiful moment here at Saas-Fee. The hotel is very well placed in the center of the village, close to the bus station. We were welcomed perfectly per the hotel. Our room is well equipped and the view on the mountain is stunning. A pool and a spa is available as three restaurants in the hotel.
Spent few days in this Hotel, nothing special about the building / design, ( 5 stars it might be too much) What makes the difference here are the people who work in it, Very nice people from the ladies at the reception to the bartenders and last but not least the guys who drive the small electric cars to carry around all the guests, Particularly Abillio and his colleague Pedro, that are very friendly and kind, Nice to meet you guys! If you have any occasion to spend some time there you ll understand. Take care guys See you soon Alessandro
Lovely Holidays. All round good service and the personals made nothing short. Drop off and pick up from Hotel to the Gondola and back handled efficiently by the personal. Staff very attentive at all times.
We’re here for 1/2 term ski, spa and shopping break. Having a wonderful time in this classic and stylish hotel. The renovation has left no stone unturned! Our room is delightful and well equipped. The general service in the hotel is excellent from the team of buggy drivers Pedro and cavalero to the front of house in reception. A few different covid rules for us Brits so so ensure you come with masks and have your booster jabs to avoid in resort antigens in order to use the wonderful spa and the most well equipped gym ever! The food is great - the attention from Ines during our fondue has made this a night to remember. Allesandro the ski guide has showed us the resort of Saas Fee with a friendly eye and shown it off to its full potential. The team of bar staff have ensured we’ve experienced the finest cocktails! I can always be picky… but tough to critique this family run 5* hotel. More pillows perhaps - see how hard it is to find fault!…
We loved our experience at the Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa. Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the moment passed in the private jacuzzi. We also want to highlight the superb work of Mr. Abilio Ribeiro. We really enjoyed talking with this great professional and learning more about Saas-fee. Can't wait to come back
We treated ourselves to the Walliserhof over New Years as it looked like the best hotel in Saas-Fee. We were not disappointed, with two huge very stylish room. They both had great views of the slopes and were tastefully appointed with a very cool mountain style decor and huge bath area. A lot of the mini bar is offered free each day as well which is a nice touch. The staff at the front desk, especially Falk and Varena were exceptionally helpful, helping us plan our week, sorting out bills etc. I left my passport behind and Falk sent a taxi to catch up with in time to catch my train. I am very grateful for his and the team's quick thinking. There is a great electric taxi service to the slopes and back anytime you want and the guys driving that are really helpful. It's quite fun and very short. The hotel is in the middle of town so really close to everything and very pretty. The views are amazing The hotel has a dine-around scheme if you are on half board which is very generous. It is based on CHF85 per night per person in the top end fine dining restaurant, but you won't eat there everynight, so you have loads to spend in the other restaurants which are great, especially the Italian. Room service is also covered, but you always pay for drinks in any restaurant and a delivery charge for room service, The spa is also very big and nice. Has decent hours for kids too. All in all we loved and hope to come back next year.…
Great hotel with service minded staff. Three good restaurants and nice bar/lounge area. The room was spacious. The spa area is realet nice and the fitness center is modern and spacious. The staff was all very helpful!
Very nice hotel, great location, wonderful spa and excellent service. Went as 4 (2 couples). The hotel is charming, had christmas decoration, wasn't too busy and we got an upgrad to a junior suite, which is always nice :) Great view from the room, too! Huge bathroom, nice shower, good products. Everything was a very high standard. Unfortunately, there was a construction site next to the hotel during our visit, which made it noisier than it usually would be.
The hotel is centrally located, it has good food and a nice pool, which are all pluses! However, you’d expect far more from a 5-star hotel, and if I were to compare it with the other 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at, it would rank last! You ask for a Coke Zero/ Light for the minibar, but all they have is regular! You ask for bar soap but they don’t have any! In the shower you only have one product for hair and body, and no conditioner! You ask for an iron, but they tell you it has to be done by housekeeping (which of course would cost a fortune, just to straighten out some items that got squashed in the suitcase). At the pool, there are, theoretically, specific hours for children, yet in reality children are there at all times! AND the shocking part were the little marmot soft toys that we found on the pillows on arrival, which led us to think they were complimentary for the children, only to find out later we had to pay for them: a very cheap touch and tasteless marketing strategy to force clients to buy their products. Not to mention the wooden animals exhibited for sale in the room!!! Due to my work, I’ve stayed in hotels in over 45 countries, from one to five stars, but that was still new to me! In short, go there, but with no expectation to be pampered in any way, because if you do, you’d be disappointed! …
Amazing place! The room was spacious, clean and the bed so comfortable ! I could check in earlier than expected and had a great time at the spa. The pool is huge and water was warm. The saunas area is so relaxing . It really is the perfect place for a weekend getaway, highly recommended.
