We stayed for almost one week at this incredible hotel. Philippe was so kind to upgrade us to a family suite. The front desk staff were very accommodating including early check in and late check out. Every person was very kind and helpful. We loved the spa facilities and truly had a magical week in Vevey. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The location was just perfect- we could easily walk everywhere and the hotel provided us with complimentary tourism card for free local transportation and admission to museums. We will be back for our next visit in June. Thank you so much for all of your hospitality to our family.

We’ve been there one year ago already. Our stay was nearly perfect, we had a nice and very quiet room and an excellent breakfast. The only reason I won’t give this property a five stars rating is the welcome newsletter we received one week before arriving, which could be summarized as just an advertisement for some electronic cigarette. If our rate had been refundable, we would even maybe cancelled our stay, and at the end, it would be unfortunate, because, except for this, it was perfect.

We booked a superior room for one night. The room was lovely and it was great to have effective air conditioning on a very hot night. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful in explaining where to catch a bus to the local attractions. However, when we went to the terrace at 6pm for a cocktail and dinner, we were surprised to be told that no table was available. No effort was made to suggest a later time or apologise. Reception helpfully suggested an alternative restaurant. However, since we were staying at a 5 -star hotel we expected access to all facilities including the restaurant and at the very least, we should have been advised on booking the hotel or at check in that we should also book the restaurant. That was very disappointing and unexpected - therefore beautiful hotel but not quite the 5-star experience we were expecting.

We booked a birthday package including dinner, a cake of my choice and champagne served during dinner, parking included. My room upgrade for a balcony facing the lake was an excellent choice. We had the most beautiful balcony we could have had (Room 105) and suffered to think we would need to leave it! Staff were incredibly friendly and professional in solving issues (my 3-year old son was mistakenly not included and they quickly sorted it out sending an extra bed and we forgot we had a bottle of champagne included and paid for the glasses during dinner. As a fix, they offered a bottle at the bar shortly before our check out), dinner was great, the bar outside is charming and comfortable. We used the indoor pool and sauna as well and were very satisfied with it. One can rest outside in comfortable "chaises" with some detox tea. I had a b'day message in the bathroom mirror which was cute. Overall, we were extremely happy with our choice. I would definitely recommend this highlight in Vevey and we will certainly get back.

We came back for a lunch on the terrace with friends and children (8 people) after a nice experience last year and were very disappointed this time. First and foremost we were surprised that as a luxury Leading Hotel of World LWH the Trios Couronnes management didn’t apply COVID-19 safety protocol by ensuring all it staff wear face masks. They just put a hand sterilizer stand at entrance and that was it!?!? 1) when we tried to book we were told there was only a table available at 2pm and it would be a reduced limited menu but when we arrived a bit early at 13:45 there were four tables free and the manager was quite rude and stubborn and wouldn’t accommodate us or seat us earlier. 2) it was a very hot day and I had to insist and ask to be seated on a sofa lounge area and ordered water while we wait for our table. 3) the waiters were very slow to bring us bottle water and when they did they didn’t even wipe clean or sterilize the table as it still had the previous customers glasses. 4) when the manager saw that it was nearly 2pm and out table wasn’t free she finally put the two tables that had been free since we arrived together and she sat us!! 5) after being seated it took another 15 minutes to take our orders ! They could have easily taken out order much earlier especially seeing that we had hungry children with us. 6) the drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive and only after being reminded TWICE! 7) we asked if the sun umbrellas could be better positioned to give us shade from the hot sun and the waiter responded by telling me he will ask someone to fix it. That never happened and I basically gave up and moved the umbrellas myself and fixed the problem. When the food finally arrived 50 mins later it was very tasty but frankly NOT worth the stress and bad service. Not once did the management or waiters apologize for the delay or show any proactive initiative to help improve the experience that you would expect from a LHW 5 Star Hotel and definitely during Covid-19 era the hotel staff should all be wearing masks and make extra efforts to ensure the safety of their customers and employees and be leading examples and not just a label of Leading Hotel of world. Next time we go to vevey we will certainly try options.
