Stayed here on business and had a comfortable room. I was on the top floor and there seems to be no lift so if you have mobility issues you need to book a lower floor. Rooms are clean but if you are phased by the toilet being in the room (i.e. not in a separate bath room) you may want...

I stayed in Hostellerie de Geneve for professional reasons during 56 days. So, this is not a first impression opinion. I had a wonderful time in this small and cozy hotel. The location is perfect and the lake view is unforgettable. But, this is much more than a beautiful view. This is about great service provided by their hard working...

This hotel is above a cafe. Rooms seem more like a bed and breakfast. U go up many flights of stairs. No elevator. The staff will bring your suitcase up and down for u. Speak French first ! U will get what u need easier. The breakfast-European. Cheese bread quiche . No fruits. No waffles, no pancakes, no fried eggs....

Was there on business, loving room, the sort that would be great for a weekend jumping point, the main complaint was that there was no AC and it was a roasting room, I had to sleep with all the windows open and as there are a number of bars and a big carpark out front it was not quiet. The...

Unfortunately stayed here a couple of times while in the area on business (thankfully on my own). I had two different rooms (one of which was cow themed), both of which had open toilets at the foot of the bed, with no shelter around the toilet. Jokes aside, this seemed quite unsanitory to me, I really did not like it....

What a great find, on the banks of lake Geneva. Close to train station making access to Montreaux and surrounds so easy. Situated above a vibey restaurant we loved our small but very comfortable room. Happy friendly staff provide great service in an exquisite setting. Not sure you can ask for more really!

L'Hostellerie de Geneve is a small hotel tucked away among restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is a set of small rooms above what I presume is the hotel restaurant. It is VERY European. The winding staircase takes you to sets of rooms that are tiny by US standards. I stayed there for a week by myself and felt cramped....

I was given the "Aero room", themed like an early jet. Quite cool, but also a little kitsch. The room was small and lacked some basic things like easily accessible power sockets. Otherwise the hotel is well located, smack in the middle of Vevey and everything is accessible on foot from here. The staff is lovely and friendly - somewhat...

Think of it as a great restaurant with good and clean private rooms rather than a "real" hotel. With that mind set you can enjoy it a lot. If wish they some noise proofing towards the hallway but all in all I'm satisfied. Free Wifi, clean bath, OK sized bed in an OK sized room. Friendly staff (but be prepared...

I stayed 2 different nights in the same week. During my first night I was placed in a room that faces the market. Unfortunately I could hear the clock ring every 30mins and please be aware that every Tuesdays and Thursdays, the maker sets up from 5am! For my second night I was in a room facing the back street,...
