We stayed as a family of 8 for a ski holiday at the Crans Ambassador for 7 nights. The hotel is stunning, and ideally located. The quality of food during breakfast and dinner was superb. The staff all across the hotel were kind, attentive and easy to speak to. Apart from a mishap during the first dinner (slow delivery of food) which was rectified by extra attention, all was great. The gentlemen looking after the ski material were incredible and made the experience even better. Great hotel, definitely recommended.
A wonderful new year here. Ski hire is within the hotel and the guys would bring your kit to you every morning. The decor is very classy and relaxing, we found our room exceptionally quiet which we cannot say about some places. The pool and spa are lovely, the gym is very well equipped. The only minor issue we had was the 100m walk to and from the slopes which was very icy some days. Would definitely go back.
It’s a beautiful hotel with spectacular views Staff is excellent, polite, warm and helpful Decoration is amazing Attention to detail in furniture, colours and finishings Very homey and posh at the same time Lobby, outdoor terrace and restaurants, are simply wonderful Ski shop very nice and staff helpful Ski in out -not exactly You have to walk to gondola Location is great as on a good day you can walk down the Riad to the escalator and find yourself in Montana Otherwise a hotel car could drop you off and pick you up upon request all day until 8:00 in the evening So if you want to eat out, you need to take your car If you decide to eat in, prepare to pay a lot even for a simple dish as a club sandwich Breakfast is very good Breads and pastries with a different fresh tart and cake every day, fruits and yoghurts,-even a 0%, cheeses and hams there. Warm breakfast though consisted of scrambled eggs and bacon, no vegetables at all and anything else omelettes, boiled eggs, pancakes etc etc were on extra cost. I don’t think a hotel if this level should be so stingy, it’s not logical I would also expect some healthy choices for cereal, oat or oat muesli, nuts etc to be available on the cereal buffet Also there was no almond, soy or fat free milk available These details make the difference as far as 5 star hotels are concerned That said, there was a gluten free muesli available Rooms were comfortable although not big Stylish with good bedding-I would say that pillows were to “empty” , need replacement and I loved that duvets were covered and not reused Toiletries were nice, although not religiously replaced and more fit for men Loved the nespresso machine and bathrobes Excellent tv quality Wonderful terrace, large with excellent views No air conditioning for cooling, a bit too hot in winter as you cannot control it from your room. But I kindly asked the reception and switched heating off,no problems Parking is available and for additional cost you park in a covered area I enjoyed tremendously my stay and. Highly recommend this hotel My comments serve as an effort to improve even more…
Compliments to all the team . Very friendly service , beautifully rooms , nice restaurant , perfect spa , good job from all 100 points from 100. we will come again . It’s a top place to relax and enjoy live .
Very well located luxury hotel. I liked the rooms and the atmosphere. The pool is very nice. The steam rooms and sauna are a too small in my view but it did not really bother me. Excellent view on the Alps from the terrace.
