Super warm, friendly and competent was the whole team at the Sorell-Hotel Tamina! Very large and clean rooms where you have everything you need - otherwise call reception and they are happy to help. A handwritten greeting card on the desk in the room surprised very much. Depending on availability, an upgrade is also possible. Own garage is also very nice to have! it was my daughters birthday and we could not have had a better experience! I contacted them ahead of time and asked if they could decorate and if we could get a cake (which I saw you could get on there website). when we checked in everybody was very friendly and when we got to the room (a corner suit) it was gorgeous the room itself was great and the birthday decorations were lovely. we decided to have dinner there and we had the daily menu (5 courses) the food was great. they decorated the table and after dinner (we were already full) they brought the cake, which we thought they forgot, out it was beautiful! we had it for breakfast too. everybody was so nice the whole stay was great.

We booked the "Zeit zum Zweit" package, staying in a junior suite. The whole weekend perfectly lived up to expectations, and would echo all the positive feedbacks others have posted for this hotel.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff at reception and restaurant were very friendly. Room was extremely comfortable, impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet / peaceful night sleep.

Nice hotel with overall very friendly staff. Great rooms. Car park available in the basement. You need to make sure you get a room where wifi works. This is 2020, but the hotel management is not worried about not having wifi in all rooms. ‘You can always change room’ and ‘nobody else complains’ are the comments from hotel management.

Our head office and engineer department in Zurich are working on the solution for the entire Sorell Hotel group. The hotel has 50 rooms. We offered you from the very beginning of your stay, and on all other occasions, an alternative room in the same category with full WIFI power an TV running properly. Unfortunately, you denied our suggestions. Yes, you are right, this is 2020. Nevertheless, challenges with IT and other installations can appear. We face this challenge in one of our fifty rooms. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Rad Ragaz, just 7 minutes walk to the Tamina bathhouse. The staff is very helpful, and attentive. The room on the garden side of the hotel is modern, quiet and comfortable.

I've been with my friends (8 people) to the hotel from 4 to 7 November. The hotel is nice, clean, great position close to golf courses, Spas and Casino. The personnell is not only very kind but extremely helpful. Two examples: we forgot one bag and they shipped it in no time. We tried to reserve a fondue restaurant. It was fully booked. They took the initiative and reserved another one without us asking. That's service.

I was treating my mom to a nice vacation in Switzerland and decided to come to Bad Ragaz cause she loves hot springs. This hotel was great. A good walking distance from the Tamina Therme. The staff were great. I had my breakfast and dinner here and the food was superb! Although we couldn’t take the cheese plate.
Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because my room was terribly hot. Had to keep the window open and let the winter air in to cool down. We let the front desk know and someone came and helped us adjust the thermostat but it didnt seem to have worked.
Overall a great hotel and if I were to ever visit again, it’ll definitely be my choice!

We booked a suite at the Sorell Hotel Tamina back in May 2017, because we wanted THAT room this April (2018) being part of my wife's 50 years birthday celebration. The booking was even confirmed by the hotel by phone and email. When we arrived to the Tamina hotel, we were told that someone else got the suite since they have decided to extend their stay....so we had been DOWNGRADED to a lover category!!! First we complained, to be modest we were very angry and simply couldn't believe this situation; why were this couple not asked to move, WE HAD A RESERVATION, they did not. Feeling TRAPPED in the situation - where could we go on this short notice? Home? We agreed to see the other room, but my wife were almost in tears! First we were offered a drink as compensation! A DRINK! Since we more or less had no other choice than accepting the lower/smaller category of room we accepted to stay and pay just one night and free entry to the termal baths. This was our only chance to at least stay in Bad Ragaz for the celebration. BUT IT WAS NOT AS EXPECTED. And just waiting for us to show up and then tell us the bad news. No call, no email, to advice us, so we COULD have taken action or decided what we wanted to, in advance, not on the spot. Management was not available and did not contact us in any way during our stay. We were returning guests, but for now we will NEVER EVER stay at this hotel and can't recommend others to do so neither. I mean, how can we ever trust management here again?

I had been to this hotel couple of times with my family and offers one of the best accomodation in Switzerland especially in the Sargans region. The rooms are clean, spacious and the food in the restaurant was simply superb.The break fast has a wide range of choices.

Bad Ragas is a quiet valley town surrounded by beautiful mountains .Sorell Hotel Tamina is located almost in the centre of the town. Small Shops along with Coop and Migros located within walking distances. The hotel has nice rooms and would prefer to have rooms with the Mountain view on the garden side of the Restaurant. The Rooms have small balconies (without any privacy) where one can enjoy the morning rising sun over the mountains over a cup of tea/coffee provided in the room along with a bottle of water. Major attraction of this wellness town is the Tamina Therme situated within walking distance. A beautiful garden with a lake called Giessenpark. Between May 5 and November 5 the city is filled with beautiful Sculptures which makes the whole of Bad Ragaz a worthy experience. The hotel has a good food for breakfast and good personalized service as its run by a family. Negative : There is has no air conditioning system available in the room.
