This hotel has a small restaurant that doesn't seem to look for passing trade, but we liked the menu (very different from the standard fare of many restaurants in the town) and went in. The food was excellent, well cooked and courteously served. And the bill was no more than other places not up to this standard. A gem. Recommended... More

The best Attribute of this Hotel is its location. Right on the Mosel Promenade there is a splendid view of the river. Unfortunately our room faced onto a small side street. But we did enjoy the view during our delicious dinner. That being said there were some negatives. The room was too small for comfort. The two of us barely... More

A lovely hotel right on the Mosel River bank. A big room with lovely views and lovely clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. We used the garage for our bike which was just around the corner but secure. Free Wifi was great too. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff were polite and friendly.... More

This is a resort type town, I arrived on a Sunday afternoon when everyone was leaving from the weekend, so It got quite. I had a great view of the Mosel River and the main street was right under my window. Not noisy at all. The breakfast was great, I got to know the owner Frau Noss, and had a... More

There were four of us in our party and we did not make reservations in the small town of Cochem because we really couldn't find what we were looking for, so decided to "wing it". We arrived Cochem and tried to use their visitor information center to find rooms. It would be a nice system - if it worked. Didn't... More

Hotel located on the riverside of Mosel Valley, just across main public road, in downtown Cochem. There are lots of shopping, restaurant, cafe within walking distance. The room is just ok, but the balcony open to Mosel river view is stunning. Breakfast was served on the first floor, very yummy. The area itself is very famous for world-renowned Reisling. Cochem... Stayed here during the Easter holidays and never again! I consider this hotel to be overpriced. We have stayed in better hotels for the same price or less. The single room in the hotel was extremely small. The room in the guest house was ok however it was humid and cold and the heater was too small for the size... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at Hotel Noss. The only slight issue we had was the separation of the two buildings. We were greeted by very friendly staff and were then shown to our room, a block down the road. This really didn't pose too much of a problem as the room we were given was more than... More

The Hotel Noss is a good value and well located for a short visit in Cochem. They serve a hearty breakfast in a nice dining room that overlooks the busy street and the Mosel River. The rooms are small and the tiny corner sinks guaranty water will be splashed on the floor when washing your face. The location makes this... More
